Welcome to TF2HS! An AU where we put the TF2 mercenaries in the context of a high school life! This inspired in FNAFHS, but with our own twist!

Hello there!

This is TF2HS official blog!! In here we will be uploading/reblogging the content of the au made by the admins (and the community)!!

In here you can ask us about the mercs, get to know more about the story, what do we have planned and even suggest ideas. We're all excited for this little project made for FUN.

You can check this post for more info about this AU, but, I'll still discuss some key points about it.

This takes place in a much more modern era, 2000-2010s, to really get into the tumblr vibes, yk?

Everyone is a minor, clearly.

Soldier's real name in here is Jaren, "Jane Doe" is a name his father uses to dehumanize him.

Magic is not really a thing in this AU.

Everyone has issues of some kind (our doing lol).

They'll be switching outfits from time to time, the only ones that doesn't as often are Soldier and the BLUBLOOD.

Design for more characters of the AU!!! They aren't really important for the story in general, just for Miss Pauling's character!!! Besides that i tought it would be so cool and funny if other Valve's characters were Teachers or something else in the school, Like Rochelle from L4d2!!!

hihi, just asking, i wanna use your scout and pauling designs for a little meme animatic thingy idea... i think theyd match well with a song i like... of course id credit and stuff but i just wanna know if its okay to use it for scoutpauling? the song makes it one sided, but idk just thought id ask ^^

It's fine by us! Make sure to credit to credit the artists behind those designs! Pauling's desing is by @poissoncherry, and Scout, depending on the design, could be @midnightfrappe or me (@ashersbunker).

As long the animatic is sfw and stuff, it should be totally okay !!

This au is really cool!

I wanted to ask how demo and soldier met?

Soldier and Demo's parents know each other and are were great friends! They basically grew up together.

Demo's mom used to spend a lot of time with Soldier's mom before she passed away, and the same happened their dads, where Soldier's dad used to hang out with Demo's dad before he passed away.

After that, Soldier's dad and Demo's mom stopped talking since they felt they had nothing in common, hence their friendship withered. But, Demo's mom let him keep hanging out with Soldier. On the other side, Soldier's dad didn't let him because he force his son to spend all of his time training or into the academy. Though, Soldier always found ways to sneak for a little while to see him.

This goes further in the future, but, after Soldier's situation, Demo's mom realized that she was kind of falling into the same track as Soldier's dad. Being really strict, controlling and worse, his own son didn't feel safe around her to let her see his true self. So, because of this, she changed. She didn't want for her son to feel trapped, not with her.

Hi hi!!! This is my first time asking a question on Tumblr so kinda scared 😃

I wanna ask, how did you make all the designs for each Merc? Especially Pyro and Spy because I find them really cute and cool!!! Did you get inspo from another artist or did you make them yourself? If you got inspo, I'd like to see the picture of it! (Of course, put credits)

To be honest, all of our young mercs have something from ourselves, we just retouch the colors or certain shapes to be on board with that character.

I think those who were dead easy to design were Soldier, Engie, Scout, Medic and Heavy. At least for RED, BLU are way different, even if they have an uniform but we also have to design their casual clothes.

Both Pyros (RED and BLU) are trans! RED Pyro is nonbinary while BLU Pyro is a trans girl. RED Sniper, RED Engie and BLU Demo are trans boys, and finally BLU Spy is genderfluid!! :D

Soldier is bad with names so, he gave all a codename

The way Soldier comes up with each codename is with the way everyone behaves or the skills that they've shown so far.

Scout, he usually climbs whatever to have a better view to ensure it's safe for Soldier to move around the school (since he isn’t part of it).

Pyro, they already have that nickname, but Soldier knows it's because their fixation with fire.

Medic, the one that has the ambition and knowledge to be an actual medic in the future, he's usually the one patching his friends up or showing his vast knowledge about his future major.

Demo, he's Soldier's childhood friend, and he knows Demo is really into chemistry because of his parents. When playing videogames he always picked explosive weapons, hence the nickname.

Heavy, he's a big guy and Soldier has seen how truly strong he actually is, he's like a rock, unmovable, but a softie inside. He considers him the tank of the group.

Sniper, he loves causing havoc playing with his slingshot, so one day Soldier saw what great aim he has with it and so he called him by that. What a compliment, and makes him sound badass.

Engineer (Engie), he's the smartest of the group, not only that but he's always seen carrying tools in his bags, welding goggles in his backpack and loves spending time in the school's workshop.

Spy, he isn’t fond of the way Soldier calls him because it sounds like an insult, but he's flattered in a way. He's great at gathering information, and if it is physical data like documents he WILL get his hands on them. Not only that but he's capable of other not so legal digital actions only if he really needs to go down to it.

At some point, Vincent and Maddie (Blu Sniper) were dating.

The relationship ended quickly due to differences between them, and Maddie was transferred from RED to BLU because of behavioral problems.
