LOGAN.
‘’I took a wild guess, looks like I was right.’’ The girl smirked coyly before waving a bartender over. She flashed him her fake ID and ordered herself a beer as well as a round of Fireball shots for the two of them. ‘’So, how are things going for ya?’’ She purred.
The girl let out a laugh, knowing anyone who had common sense would know she would be at the bar. “Better know that I have someone I actually like to drink with.” Karla said with a smile as she held up the shot glass to cheers it with the girl, before letting the shot slide down her throat. “How are you? Business going well?” she asked Logan. She always enjoyed when the two got to drink and catch up.
STASSI.
“ i know right? honestly, clinger’s are the fuckin’ worse. Thank God for the block option on the Iphone. “
"but the real question is, is he the type to go creepy mode and track you down in person? those guys are the worst”
IAN.
“Thanks for the compliment but YOU’RE not my type. Trust me, all I wanna do is drink.” Ian says with a SIGH as he slugs down heavily onto the bar stool, “Kind of stopped drinking for awhile. Then I saw my EX who is straight outta jail so I could REALLY use the damn drink.”
karla turned to look at the male when he spoke, and the corners of her mouth turned up when she did and it was clear to her he obviously wasn’t his type, she was already a bit more comfortable. hearing the short story, the girl looked at him with slightly wide eyes. “wow, you definitely deserve a drink. it’s on me.” she said as she flagged down the bartender. “how long has it been? since your last drink.”
LOLA.
The disgusted look Lola shot the girl as she spouted her disclaimer had to say it all. “Sorry, did you think I was coming over here to hit you up? Because I came over for a drink, not a brunette girl who tells people they can’t sit places unless they act the way she allows.” Lola sat down, issuing a scoff as she flagged down the bartender.
Karla was a little taken back by the girls response, the blonde has an obvious fire in her that Karla was slightly intrigued by. “You can act however you like, it’s more of a formal warning that if you piss me off I will get physical to remove you from my presence.” Karla said, looking at the girl with a slightly devilish smirk as she scoffed at her.
LOGAN.
‘’Damn, thought you’d be a littler nicer to your favourite person in this dump of a city.’’ Logan rolled her eyes gently, sliding into the seat next to the brunette. ‘’That’s fine with me, wouldn’t want to do anything else.’’
"Sorry babe, it’s been a long day.” The girl said when she saw the red head beside her, not knowing it was Logan before. One of the reasons Karla liked the girls, was her willingness to drop everything and just do something crazy or dumb with her. And drinking was one of their best past times. “Did you know I was here or is this just a happy coincidence?”
MAC.
“alright,” mac promised, putting his hands up as if to say he was innocent, “no talking, just drinking.” he sat down beside her, taking a sip of his beer. “rough day ?”
hearing the male agree to more drinking then talking, she looked at him slightly before patting the bar stool beside her. “oh you have no idea. i’d prefer to just forget the day. what about you?” she asked him as she signaled the bartender for a refill of her drink.
HAYES.
hayes spares a glance over his shoulder, wondering if the girl was talking to him. deducing that, yeah, it’s him she’s talking to he sits down and faces her with a raised brow. “do you frequently hook up with anyone who sits next to you, or is that just an assumption?”
karla didn’t even bother looking up as she heard the male spoke. “that depends on what you consider frequently.” she said back as she swirled her drink in her glass. “do you often assume girls in bars are just here to hook up with guys?” she questioned, eyebrow raised slightly.
ELI.
“Naturally,” Eli shrugged with a smirk. He downed his own before refilling her glass. “Men are assholes; the sooner we all learn that, the better.” He made a sweeping gesture across the bar. “Slow. The only person I’ve been serving so far has been myself, give or take.”
karla chuckled when he declared all boys were asshole, something she couldn’t totally argue with. “well most anyway, you aren’t that bad.” she teased him slightly before taking the glass and throwing back another shot. “at least all your customers have been cute.” she said giving him a playful wink.
HARLAN.
He shook his head, punctuating his words with a stern tone. “Can’t punish everyone for every minimal thing they do. I’ll just calmly explain to her that I won’t put up with it if she does it again. And if she doesn’t listen to me, then you can teepee her house.”
Karla shook her head slightly, a small smile still on her lips even with his stern tone. “Oh that’s no fun.” Karla said, turning her smile into an over dramatic pout. “But at lease there’s still a chance I can teepee a house. is it bad that i’m routing for her to do it again just for that?”
JACKIE.
“well, thanks for calling me cute. i mean, i know, but it still means a lot.” jackie slid herself onto the bar stool next to the girl, resting her elbows on the table top before looking over at her. “i mean, i wasn’t really planning on starting a conversation either but, alright. drinks it is.”
karla let out a small chuckle when the girl called herself cute as well. “in that case, you are my new drinking buddy.” karla said as she flagged down the bartender. “what will your poison be for the night?” karla asked the girl, glad the main focus could be alcohol.
HARLAN.
He grinned with the roll of his eyes and the shake of his head. “Can’t make a living begging in Chicago. There are enough people out here doing that, and they’re a little more desperate than me.”
"Well don’t do it all the time.” Karla started off, “only do it when she walked by, so youre only taking her money. or if you could go old fashion pay back and teepee her house.” Karla knew revenge well, and she had a knack for it. She almost enjoyed it.
ELI.
“Please, I have vodka with my cereal in the morning,” he joked, pulling two shot glasses and filling them. “What’d your boss do this time?” Eli inquired as he slid a glass over to her.
"And that’s why you are my favourite person.” karla said with a smile as he poured them both a shot. “What didn’t he do?” She said before quickly taking her shot and then placing the glace back on the counter upside down, taping the glass to signal she wanted another. “He’s too handsy for his own good. He’ll get what he deserves one day. What about you, how was your day?”
FIONA.
“Who said I wanted to do anything other than drink?” Fiona asked the girl, a smirk on her face as she sat down next to her ordering a vodka martini.
The edges of the girls lips turned up slightly when she heard drinking was all the girl wanted to do. “You are my kinda women. Make that two vodka martini’s.” Karla said to the bartender. “Karla.” The girl introduced herself simply as their drinks were being made.
LINTON.
“sorry love..” she muttered, watching the other. “just – y'know.. not everybody is so.. curious.. more so just down right pricks about it.. y'know.. still not used to it.. and it’s been like.. three months.” She muttered. “story? hah, how much time have you got, love? it’s quite the tale.”
when the girl stuttered out an apology a smile crept onto karlas lips and she sat down beside the other. “that’s because most people are just pricks,” karla said, trying her best to make the girl feel a bit better. “for you, i’ll make the time.” in truth karla didn’t have any plans, and hearing the girls story seemed like an interesting way to spend her time.
JADE.
“That’s something no one’s ever told me.” Jade walked past, turning behind the counter and leaning on the bar. “What can I get you?”
Karla chuckled a bit when she heard no one ever told the girl that before. “Really? You must have some shitty regulars if they don’t appreciate the bartender.” Karla pointed out. “Vodka, just straight vodka. It’s been a hell of a day.”
