TF: METAL FORCE is an original Transformers continuity where the war between Autobots and Decepticons never happened. --- Because of a terrible accident with an unfinished Space Bridge many Cybertronians are sent to the deepest parts of the universe. The story focuses on a group of unlucky bots who found their way to Earth, a distant organic planet which is surprisingly similiar to their own homeworld. Along the way the meet allies, enemies, threats they have never faced before, but among everything else, new friends. Welcome to the reality where fiction, superheroes and adventures big and small are waiting in every corner, waiting to drag our heroes in as the Cybertron tries to return them home.
First of all I'd like to apologise for the lack of content I've been providing for the past few months. Truth be told, I barely had any idea how to continue the story I've been writing, let alone motivation to do so. This is one of the reasons why I decided to do this
The entire Tf:Metal Force story is going to be renewed. I haven't been happy with my writing for a long time now and that's why I kept editing it so constantly. Looking back, there is so much I'd like to change and overall improve. Some parts of the story are going to be saved and recycled in the newest format I already began writing, but it's going to be different than before.
Thank you all for your patience. I already have a big chunk of the new story written down and I'm continuing to improve it. The entire first arc is going to be released in a form of one consistent material, either all at once of with weakly release. It's going to have a lot less chapters than the previous piece. I'm throwing more ideas, characters and concepts I have considered over the years but couldn't add them to the story because it was too late. The first arc is absolutely crazy and I can't wait to show it to you
The university soon starts for me so it might take a bit longer to get everything ready, but I promise I'm not quitting. I love this continuity so much and I want to give it justice. Once again I'm sorry for taking so long, but I need to take some extra time. Thank you for reading
It's an idea for a sequel to the main story of Tf: MF taking place dozens of years after the finale.
Optimus Primal is assigned to lead his first exploration in space. Nothing seems to complicate this mission, until they receive a message about a group of Predacons who stole a couple of prototypes from the science centre of Polyhex that were deemed too dangerous to develop and took them off planet. Primal gives an order to chase after them. They are led into a portal that takes them onto an unindentified organic planet that's not on any star map, at the time before even Cybertron existed. Damaged, alone, and with limited resources, the Axalon crew has to learn to work together and stop the Predacon leader Megatron from achieving whatever goal he set out for himself.
Optimus Primal (Maximal): Captain of the Axalon. An excellent fighter, unexperienced leader, and a notorious optimist. His hot-headed nature sometimes pushes him to give out poorly thought out orders, but he makes up for them with his incredible strategist skills. Would do anything for his crew, but is not afraid to put his foot down when disrespected.
Rhinox (Maximal): Optimus' right hand bot and the chief of science. The eldest member of the crew, and the most experienced. He and Megatron used to be friends, before the Predacon became power obsessed. Rhinox prefers to take command only when it's necessary, because he doesn't like to be in the spotlight. He's a spiritualist who is willing to give everyone a chance, even if that someone is an enemy. Despite his rather peaceful nature, he is quite terrifying when pushed to his limit. It's good to have him on your side.
Nyx (Maximal): Pilot of the Axalon. The second youngest crew member, who graduated not long before being given her first job. The Maximals quickly learned that she's a huge comic book nerd and a mercilless prankster; Some love her, some hate her. It is undeniable that she is really good at flying tricks, though.
Rattrap (Maximal): Stealth master, infiltration specialist, demolition expert (none of these are the qualities he was hired for). At first nobody really knew that much about him, until it was revealed that Rattrap is an actual former criminal. He used to be a part of a gang who broke into science facilities and stole energy sources. A pessimist, jerk, and a self-proclaimed coward. Doesn't trust Optimus in the slightest and is a difficult individual to deal with. Secretly cares for the crew.
Cheetor (Maximal): A recruit and Optimus' trainee. Cheetor wasn't supposed to be a part of the mission, but he snuck on the board of the ship before the launch. Loyal to the core, naive, but well-meaning and the most excitable of the bunch.
Dinobot (Predacon): A warrior, claims to be the chosen one. Dinobot used to be a part of Megatron's crew, but after spending some time with them he chose to switch sides. Honourable, a fan of theatre, perhaps a little too willing to fight. Believes that he was created for something greater than life and looks for an opportunity to prove himself.
Summery: The dream shook Bumblebee and Windblade. They are trying to understand what it all mean, realizing that the whole situation is more than meets the eye.
Both cybertronians gasp at the same time. Windblade quickly sits down, trying to catch up with her senses. Did Bumblebee's mindscape eject them? She turns to the left to see him staring at the ceiling with wide open optics.
"What happened?" he asks as he sits down. "We were just looking into a black void under our feet, and the next second we were here?"
Windblade frowns. Something is missing here."Do you remember what happened before we got ejected?"
"... No?" He reluctantly shakes his head.
"You saw something under the seal. It frightened you, then you said a name, then we got ejected right after it."
"Seeing something and a name? I don't remember…" Bumblebee sighs."Just like after the raid on the research facility, Optimus and Ratchet told me I said something about Shockwave.”
"As if your processor, or perhaps, this seal, is preventing you from accessing memories of your past. If you do, it just locks it away." Windblade speculates. "While it’s true that a victim's mind can block out terrible experiences, this feels different somehow. More forceful if I dare to say so."
Both are sitting in silence for a minute, processing the possible explanation. Until Bumblebee is first to break it. "What name did I mention?"
"Are you sure you wanna know right now?" Windblade asks with caution.
"Yes, I know I might forget again, but I want to try again. I feel like I’m forgetting something really important!" Bumblebee pleads, feeling a powerful urge rising in his spark.
Windblade considers for a moment. She doesn't want to risk anything since she doesn't know what they deal with, but hearing anguish in his voice hurts.
"You mentioned Lightbright, one of the Cityspeakers that lived during Functionist and Golden Eras."
Bumblebee listens carefully and tries to understand if this name rings any bells. He feels nostalgia and warmth, but nothing past it. He repeats her name in his mind multiple times, trying to summon memories or more feelings, but nothing happens.
"How do you feel?" Windblade asks him.
"Sad. I feel we used to be close, but nothing comes to my mind."
Windblade moved over to give him a gentle hug to comfort him. He returned it. Then she gets an idea. "What if I show a picture of her?"
"You know Lightbright?!"
"She was a Cityspeaker like me, so I’ve read anything I could find about them."
"Oh, right." Bumblebee snorts and buries his face into her chest in slight embarrassment. It quickly faded as both laughed it off. Then Windblade walks over to her messy table and finds a right datapad that contains all information about Cityspeakers of the past. She scrolls through several pages before finding the one they need.
Windblade hands it to Bumblebee. He examines a photo of his lost friend. Lightbright's plating is mostly blue and dark blue, with some accents of gold.
Her head has four horns, one pair is set below the other. The horns have gold ornaments hanging from them. She has fangs and jaw reinforcement - important features for each beastformer. Red markings are decorating her deep blue optics.
Her chest holds the avian head, her back has wings that rest on her shoulders, creating an illusion she's wearing a ceremonial cape.
Her digitigrade legs end with hooves, and she has a long segmented tail.
"Any thoughts about her?"
"Her alt-mode is Crystal Hypogryff, an apex predator of Quartz Lakes that used to be one the Northern Pole." Bumblebee says without thinking. Seeing Windblade's surprised expression, he added, "I don't know where this information came from."
"That’s interesting. Usually all data is kept in ‘one place’, yet you still have access to this information, as if the seal was designed to block your memories only.” Windblade speculates.
“That makes sense. After all, I could remember my name and I always had this innate knowledge about alt-modes, strengths, weak points, where seam lines are and such. I never questioned it as it felt natural.” Bumblebee says, then he frowns. “Why?”
“Perhaps you knew too much, and so did I.”
"WHAT?.. Oh wait, that’s right. You’re amnesiac as well!" Bumblebee exclaims upon realizing he completely forgot about it. “You have the seal?”
"Yep, thought it’s pretty small, and it's only concealing some of my memories. And I never had such situations when I could remember something, only for the seal to lock it away again.” Windblade says, then casually points at him. “Which, by the way, didn’t occur with you just now.”
“Oh...yeah. I still remember Lightbright and now I know what she used to look like!” Bumblebee’s optics widen in surprise, then he shakes his head. “I don’t know what to think. It feels like we are getting into something more than we bargained for.”
“It might be, but we will get to the bottom of this! In fact, I asked other Autobots if they could recognize the interface of that seal. Sadly, no one knows what it is.”
“Not even Optimus?”
“Not him, not anyone from the Science Department. But since we have newcomers, I wanted to ask them. Wanna join me?”
“Of course!”
Windblade pulls her datapad from her subspace containment and opens a picture of the seal that she exported from her memory cells. She nods to her friend, and both get up and exit the room.
--------
The first person they encountered was Thundermoon - just the mech they need right now.
“Bumblebee! Good to see you again. How are you?” They greeted him enthusiastically.
“I’m feeling alright, thank you.” The yellow minibot smiles, but wastes no time to proceed. “Listen, we are trying to see something. Do you recognize this interface?”
Windblade shows them the datapad. The wyvern’s optics narrowed for a moment, before shaking their head. “I’m sorry, but I have seen nothing like it. ”
“Oh..”
Well, that’s a bummer. Bumblebee has high hopes that the eldest cybertronian knows.
“I believe you’ll have better luck with Acid Storm. Shockwave researched a lot of things, and perhaps they came across something like this while being his assistant. I saw them in the cafeteria with Perceptor and Wheeljack.” Thundermoon playfully winks, making both mechs laugh. “You better hurry before they hole up in the lab or Wheeljack explodes!”
“Thank you, Thundermoon.” Windblade nods, and they run off to catch up with the green scientist.
------
“Are you sure it won’t blow up?” Acid Storm skeptically asks, watching Wheeljack work on the modification of a holoscreen. They are slowly getting adjusted to the new surroundings and people.
“I believe it is correct to ask him how and when it will blow up.” Perceptor snorts into his hand.
“C’moooooon guys, have faith in me!” Wheeljack whines dramatically, making other scientists giggle. “Not everything I touch is a potential bomb!”
“It is true, yet remember the Soap Accident?” Perceptor points out, while Acid Storm watches them out of curiosity.
“Hey! The soap I made was great! Sure, everyone slipped around and the foam covered the 1/3 of our base, interrupting Prime’s precious bath time, but that was just a side effect of science! Everyone and everything was so clean for the whole month!” Wheeljack grins, fondly recollecting the chaos that occurred that day.
“Ah, that sounds fun! I wish I had seen it.” Acid Storm smiles.
“Don’t worry, you still have a chance as Wheeljack makes the mark II–”
“Hey, Acid Storm!” Bumblebee suddenly enters the room, accidentally scaring the hell out of Perceptor who lets out an unholy shriek, which startles Wheeljack, prompting him to jump in the place and bumping into the holoscreen with his head, causing the sparks fly out of it, making Acid Storm yelp and spun around with wide optics.
“Shad- I mean, Bumblebee?” they utter, while trying to keep their balance. “Hey that's good to see you well.”
“BEE! I’m happy to see you, but will you stop giving me spark attacks?” Perceptor exclaims, holding his hand over chest.
“Ahahaha, don’t tell me you didn't hear his steps?” Wheeljack grins mischievously. Time to get revenge! “You, the great Perceptor, master of all perception in existence, cannot detect the smallest minibot?”
“He’s TINY! And he doesn’t have claws! I’d like to see how you will detect him!” Perceptor folds his arms with a huge huff. Bumblebee, Windblade and Acid Storm are chuckling.
“Oh, I will! And I will build a device that will give away his location just for you. I will call it –” Wheeljack makes a dramatic pause, extending his hand forward as if he’s about to propose his next greatest invention. “-- The Beetector!”
Acid Storm wheezes so hard that they almost collapse on the floor, while two besties lean onto each other for support as they laugh.
“I tried to stomp my feet this time, I swear!” Bumblebee utters between laughs, recalling all those times he entered the lab and scared Perceptor with his sudden appearance.
“We need to get you a bell or something.” Windblade proposes with a mischievous expression on her face.
“No! That would be terrifying! Imagine, you hear a distant bell somewhere in the dark. Or worse, in the vents!” Perceptor flails his hands around in protest. “Please, my old spark can’t handle such stress!”
The room erupts in laughter once again.
‘I think I have a bell somewhere in my room.’ Windblade says telepathically to Bumblebee, which made him laugh more menacingly for a brief moment. This is going to be fun!
“Ahaha, anyway, Bumblebee, you wanted something from me, didn't it?” Acid Storm asks after they calm down.
He nods and looks at Windblade, letting her ask this time.
“Have you seen this interface before?” Windblade asks, showing the picture on her datapad.
Acid Storm looks closely before their optics widen. "That's Vector Sigma."
"What?" Windblade and Bumblebee exclaimed in unison, then the yellow minibot continued. "Vector Sigma? The thing that is used to somewhat control the AllSpark? That Vector Sigma??"
Acid Storm reluctantly nods, not being used by so many people looking at them. "I recognize this interface everywhere. Shockwave often used the tool in his experiments."
"Of course he would." Bumblebee exhales, rubbing his face in frustration. Now he understands why no almost no one would recognize it. Vector Sigma is kept in the Spire with the AllSpark. Decepticons were in control for quite some time, allowing Megatron to produce more soldiers for his cause… not that it helped him, though.
"Why are you asking about it, anyway?" Wheeljack tilts his head to the side out of curiosity. "The Spire is heavily guarded, and we been trying --"
"Wait! Is it something to do with your body?" Acid Storm interrupts the inventor with sudden realization.
Bumblebee frowns, thinking about the answer." Perhaps. I don't know for sure… yet."
There, this answer shall suffice. Bumblebee simply doesn't want to disclose anything about their memory seals. Nor he or Windblade don't know what it is all about, and who might be listening.
'Good call. It's best if we keep investigating in private.' Windblade agrees with him telepathically.
"I see. You better attempt nothing, Bumblebee! Wait until we prepare anything to take the AllSpark back, as we are going to leave soon." Perceptor informs the duo.
"Leave?" Bumblebee asks in confusion.
"Yes, leave Cybertron!"
"R-really?" Bumblebee beams at the news.
"It’s true! While you napping in medbay, Prowl created a poll about staying or leaving. With statistics she gathered that painted a grim picture for Cybertron's future. Your words had an effect as well, because the vast majority voted to leave. Thus we are currently preparing for departure." Wheeljack happily explains.
"No way!" Bumblebee jumps in an ecstatic manner. His words and warnings weren't a waste after all. They will not die! " Windblade, why didn't you tell me?!"
"Oops, haha." She whispers with a slight guilty smile, as if she was just caught stealing energon candies from Wheeljack's stash during ungodly hours. "I sincerely apologize. I was so concerned with your wellbeing that I completely forgot about this."
Bumblebee can't handle the cute face she's making, so he just laughs. "Alright, alright, I'll forgive you." he pats her affectionately.
The rest of the evening and night went pretty chill. Windblade went to gather more information on memory encoding from Optimus’ archives, while Bumblebee took time to reconnect with his other friends and superiors. Thankfully, no Sunstreaker and his buddies were in the vicinity.
At the brink of dawn, Bumblebee returns into Windblade’s room. She still hasn’t returned. He was thinking about looking for her, but he figured he would distract her from research. Instead, he went to sleep.
—--
Bumblebee finds himself in the white forest again.
He signs, knowing that he will eventually run into monsters. While they don't seem to be trying to harm him directly, he still cannot look at them without immense guilt. And there is still no place to hide!
Why does everything need to be so bright anyway?! That’s not fair and it makes little sense. This place has trees! Where is the shade from them, huh?!
Bumblebee huffs in displeasure. Then he remembered how Windblade made a hole in the floor to drown this place in darkness. He realized if she can change his dream, he must be too.
But what does he want to do with it? If he drowns the dimension, it will eject him. Good for a quick exit, but he feels like this place might have some answers. He needs protection, something that will conceal his presence from the monsters.
As soon as he thought about this, something materialized in his hands. He looks down to find a vintage-looking lantern. The frame is made of tin and silver, decorated with detailed filigree. The top of the lantern is shaped like leaves. It's sort of reminding him of a wild berry he saw eons ago. Bumblebee would be surprised why his subconscious would offer a lantern if he didn’t see the most bizarre thing behind the glass.
The lantern contains not the light source, but a black hole!
He stares at it for a moment, taking notice of how it slowly absorbs light around him. Until at the edge of his vision, he saw a color that wasn’t pink or white.
The minibot looks up to see a dome forming around him. White is gone, revealing colorful surroundings. The trees have a multicolored texture, combined with dark blue leaves. By the trees, he sees a lot of vegetation, all different colors, and shapes, and sizes. One tree even has a mouth with teeth! Small animals surround him. Some are walking spheres with two legs, some are kind of worms and rodents. Another critter is a bipedal with multiple back-plates, looking at him curiously.
Bumblebee is stunned. He never saw such living beauty on Cybertron!
Or perhaps, he saw, but in the past?
It saddens him. They lost so much because of greedy bastards, who wanted nothing to make the entire world knee to them. He shakes his head. There is nothing he can do to fix the irreversible damage. At least they're going to leave this dead world behind.
Bumblebee gets onto his feet, holding the lantern in front of him. Now he can explore.
But before he could move forward, a monster appeared from the woods. This one he dubbed as “The Maw”. He froze in place, holding the lantern close to his chest.
It moves in circles, as if it sensed Bumblebee’s presence earlier and it’s trying to find him. It’s walking closer and closer until it’s right by his side. The stares in terror as the monster opened its huge maw that goes down to its abdomen. It looked like it was about to swallow its prey… before dashed off in a different direction. Soon it left the locale.
Bumblebee collapsed on the ground, ventilating heavily as pressure let go of him. He lets out a relieved laugh. It worked. The lantern protected him! He doesn’t know how long the monster will be gone, so he must take a chance while it’s not here.
Once again back to his feet, the minibot moves forward through the mysterious forest. He amazed how much beauty was hidden under the light, often making stops to observe flora and small fauna. He knows every single animal, every single tree and flower. Just like he could recall Lightbright’s alt-mode, he could easily name anything here. He wonders why he has such extensive knowledge of wildlife. Perhaps he was a biologist? Or someone to watch over natural sanctuaries?
Bumblebee is lost in thought, musing about possibilities of his past, until something gold caught his optic. He walks over to the curious object to find it’s a golden chain. The chain connects to the ground and stretches far, far into the sky, disappearing into the white clouds above. Curious, he touches it. Nothing happens.
“Strange…” he says out of loud. Bumblebee tries to shake it, but it appears the chain has a tight tension. What a strange thing to have in the dream. Though… chains usually needed to restrain something, right? And he feels closer to his memories when he’s dreaming. Echoes appear here and there.
What will happen if Bumblebee breaks it?
He shook it again, pulled it down, kicked it, and even bit it. But no matter how hard he tried, the chain remained unscratched. Letting out the growl of frustration, he steps away, giving the chain a foul look. There has to be a way to break it!
Perhaps he needs a tool… no, a weapon!
Suddenly, the ground under his feet gave out, and Bumblebee fell into the abyss with a startled yell. He shut his optics as something pulled him deeper and deeper. It lasted for several seconds until he stopped moving. The world became quiet.
With a deep inhale, Bumblebee opens his optics.
He finds himself in the darkness, surrounded by stars. They pulsate with different frequencies, also like living sparks. He squints his optics to see a faint line coming from each one, and converging… here?
The minibot observes this new environment. It feels somehow different, not a dream, not a mindscape. This place is another dimension, yet it’s not limited to just one person.
This place is much bigger.
This place is –
“Collective Unconscious.” hundreds of voices said at the same time.
—---
Bumblebee wakes up and quickly sits upright.
“What was that?!” he exclaims in both agitation, fear and confusion.
He takes a moment to fully realize he’s awake. His inner chronometer says it's still a few hours until dusk, meaning he woke up earlier than usual. He looks around to see that he’s still in Windblade’s room. Her table looks even more chaotic with several new datapads that were most likely added earlier. He turns to his right to see Windblade is sleeping on the side, facing him and holding another datapad in hand.
Bumblebee smiles. She must have been reading all morning before she got too tired and fell asleep. He takes the datapad out of her hand and places a small table beside the bed. Then he moves closer to her, taking her hands into his. He closes his optics and focuses his mind over her pulsing spark. It’s so calm and already lulling him back to sleep.
Resting with his best friend feels much better than being alone all the time. Would it be weird if he just stays here longer? Windblade would say if she wanted him to move out, so… Until then.
Starscream hangs wanted posters of himself in his room
When people ask about them he explains 'Sometimes when I'm really low, I look at motivational posters and see how much people are willing to pay to get their hands on me'
Summary: Bumblebee was put out of duty and he's not happy about it. He tries his best to cope, but it gets harder with each passing day. Windblade sees it and tries to reach him out. Meanwhile, whispers about him grow as Sunstreaker with his biddies is relishing in his plight.
Content warning: suicidal themes, self-harm, nightmares, body horror, unreality, bullying. Basically I'm diving into psychological horror territory with this story.
Several weeks have passed since the Autobots saved the Rainmakers. As Bumblebee lost his stingers, he was put out of duty. He tried to brush it off like nothing, but it gets harder with each passing day.
Logic says others just worry about him, but insecurities convince him they only care out of pity. He can’t look into their optics. Guilt whispers it will be his fault if the Autobots fail because he's too weak to help.
Windblade is trying to reach him, offering help as she sees he’s struggling with his mind. Bumblebee keeps denying. She has better things to do.
Cheetor is trying to get him to play with them, but Bumblebee says he’s still recovering, even though his wounds healed. They have better playmates than he is.
Even Acid Storm with their siblings have been trying to get his attention, but he always finds an excuse to leave. They don’t insist, believing he needs space. It’s better this way.
Meanwhile, Cliffjumper avoids Bumblebee like a rust plague, now constantly hanging out with Sunstreaker. Snarl joined them a week later after the raid. Bumblebee always notices them whispering every time they see him. He doesn't need to hear words to understand what they talk about - their sparks radiate so much distrust and hostility. It hurts him deeply, Cliffmper’s betrayal is still a fresh wound on his spark. Still, he’s trying to stay strong to hide his pain.
But everyone has their limits and soon, Bumblebee began avoiding people entirely. He locked himself up in his own room. He thought, perhaps a long sleep will improve his mood, but the stress he’s been under made his dreams much, much worse.
Weird, terrible creatures are roaming through the dreamy landscape, leaving bright pink trails behind. Bumblebee doesn't know what they are, but just looking at them fills his spark with immense dread and guilt. Each time he dreams, those creatures become more aware of his presence. He wishes he knew how to stop being lucid in his dreams.
Now, the minibot lays in his berth, but the rest won’t come. With a sign, he sits up. His room is eerily empty - his pillow and heavy blanket with stars are his only belongings. The side with the table and chair, shelves and cabinets have gathered a thick layer of dust. Bumblebee never used this part of the room. In fact, he doesn’t spend much time here.
The reason is simple: he’s afraid to be alone for too long. This room was only a place to rest and nothing more. He never felt like keeping his things here, hoarding them in his subspace instead.
So empty, and Bumblebee is alone, making his discomfort grow.
But going out means he might run into the nasty four, that even with spark telepathy is hard to avoid. They occupy the cafeteria all the time, and it’s been a few days since he had his fueling energon.
‘Ask Windblade to get you some!’ his common sense keeps telling him, but why should he bother her?
‘She’s your best friend, and friends are supposed to be there for each other.’
But friends also have boundaries, and their lives don’t completely revolve around each other. Windblade has a very important job, she has a lot of patients and he can’t just interrupt her with silly requests.
‘This won’t take long!’
For several minutes, Bumblebee argues with himself until he finally gathers the courage to leave his room. He just needs to be quick: grab the cube, get out, and go back to his room.
His walk to the cafeteria went smoothly. Blaster said hi and invited him to the party. Bumblebee gave him a tiny smile, saying he will think about it. He doesn’t really feel like going, but outright saying no to Blaster would make him feel terrible.
The cafeteria is empty, with relief Bumblebee slips inside. He picks up the energon cube, considering drinking it here, not wanting to go back to his empty room. But sudden motion grabbed his attention as four, fast moving sparks headed towards him.
Slag, not them!
Panicking, he hurries towards the exit, but immediately bumps into Snarl. She hisses at him, while Sunstreaker, Sideswipe and Cliffjumper block the exit.
“Look who crawled out of his hole?” Sunstreaker says in a mocking tone. The other three laughed. The minibot’s feeling his plating puffing up from agitation. This is not gonna end well.
“I have no time for you. Move.” Bumblebee replies, looking as unfazed as possible.
“Since when are you busy? I’m pretty sure Optimus removed you from duty. Finally, I thought he would never see how useless you are!”
“As if you are doing something important, huh? I didn’t know that gossiping all with you buddies was good for the Autobots!” Bumblebee hisses at him. He can’t stand the hypocrisy of this mech.
“Hey, we talk strategy!” Cliffjumper protests.” Considering you let enemies in, it’s obvious you cannot be trusted!”
“Like you’re trustworthy, spreading rumors like a corrupt Functionist who constantly waiting to backstab their ‘friends’ to gain their wealth.” Those words made the red minibot stumbles with his words. Cliffjumper stares at Bumblebee in disbelief. Sunstreaker whistles, while Sideswipe looks concerned. He knows they are pushing too far.
“What? Never practiced self-reflection to understand what kind of scrapbag you have become? You know what, I don’t care.” Bumblebee huffs, feeling exhausted just by interaction, and tries to walk past. Snarl’s hand stops him. “And what’s your problem?”
“You put a bad name on beastformers, twerp!” She says with poison in each word. “You keep trying to be what you will never be. You must stop pretending and realize you don’t belong with us.”
Snarl’s words felt like a knife, stabbing his spark in the most painful way. His hands slightly tremble, making it hard to hold on his energon cube. His pulse is rising, Bumblebee is seriously considering fighting the Dinobot.
“Pshhh, he doesn’t belong anywhere! He should just go away and join the artificial freaks like him!” and then Sunstreaker twists this knife, sending Bumblebee into a bad spiral. This group knows what hurts him the most. “You are not even a real person, you’re just a machine who wants to cowardly run away from home! I bet Shockwave was making a drone and decided to see what would happen if he put a spark in there!”
“Yeah, your name should be Bumbledrone!” Cliffjumper exclaims, sending the group into a laughing fit. Even Sideswipe who was silent the entire time. They keep repeating the nasty nickname over and over, not realizing that Bumblebee slipped away.
Normally, he would get angry and fight back. He would find the right words to hurt them back, to make them regret harassing him! But he’s vulnerable and fragile right now. The last event really hit hard on his self-esteem and his sense of belonging. They just said what he was telling himself all this time.
Maybe they’re right, maybe he should just leave and die in a dark hole. He can't fight anymore. Why should he? Perhaps his entire purpose of existing is sacrifice. Maybe this is why he’s here - drop into the core and be consumed by whatever is in there that will soon kill them all. Maybe this will enough to convince everyone he’s right.
Bumblebee is trying to not cry as he walks fast towards his room, while seriously considering this option. He takes a deep breath in an attempt to calm down, but instead he feels detached. His pace is slowing down, his mind gets more clouded, as if being shrouded in thick mist.
He stops and looks around. Where is he going? Where is everyone?
He looks down at his energon cube and doesn't recognize his own hands. His very being feels alien, as if he just watches himself from aside.
Is he dreaming?
But it feels too real to be a dream. Yet he feels so disconnected suddenly.
Do he exist?
Bumblebee’s optics widened at the last thought. He drops the cube on the floor and looks at his hands again. They look the same, yet still unrecognizable. Not his.
This can’t be! Did he vanish out of existence somehow?
Is this why he’s so alone and afraid?
The panic is rising fast with each second as Bumblebee desperately tries to connect with his own senses. But no matter what he does, no matter how many times he touches his face, his trembling hands, his burning chest - anything feels foreign.
He lets out a sob, tears are gathering in his optics. This feeling is terrifying. He doesn’t want it! He just wants to exist. Why did he stop existing?! Is it punishment? Because he let everyone die?!
In blind panic, Bumblebee digs his fangs into his own hand, hoping the pain will prove that he’s real. But the pain doesn't come, so he bites himself again. And again. And again. He keeps biting his both hands, ripping his plating off.
Why it doesn’t hurt?!
This pink energon drips onto the floor, forming a small pool under him as he keeps hurting himself.
Until his spark can’t take anymore distress.
--------
Bumblebee wakes up in an unfamiliar landscape. He’s dreaming again. With a sigh, he gets up to inspect his new surroundings.
The sky is so white it’s blinding. Trees around him are also white, with glitchy rainbow outlines. The ground is shifting constantly, also in shades of white. So much white, so much light. Bumblebee is not comfortable here. He’s exposed and unsafe, in the open to everyone to judge his existence.
Not knowing where to go, Bumblebee picks a random direction. He hopes to find a shade in this light void to respite, but no luck. Each passing second feels like eternity, filling his spark is aching loneliness.
Is this what his existence is like? A vast emptiness, stretching as far as his keen optics can see. It drains his willpower, making it impossible to force himself awake. The minibot keeps wandering around the forest, waiting for this dream to end until he catches a glimpse of color. He turns to the left to see a large bright pink trail on the ground.
Next second he realized what it looks like, and his spark fills the dread. It’s not safe here. He turns around to pick a different direction, only to see more trails surrounding him.
Bumblebee is being hunted. A distant howl makes it clear he must flee. He runs, but more trails manifest on his way, cutting off his escape. There is no way to hide as howls get closer.
Suddenly, everything gets quiet. The silence is deafening as the minibot desperately tries to hear anything.
“Bumblebee.” Something called him from behind.
Against his better judgement, he turns around, but finds nothing but more trails. Pink energon is soundlessly dripping from the trees. As the pool forms, a white triangle-shaped head emerges from it. It looks at Bumblebee with lifeless optics, instilling terror in his spark. They have red markings, similar to ones Windblade has.
The monster slowly rises from the pink pool, revealing an extremely long and thin neck connected to the blob-like body. The white body is covered in faces, with the same lifeless optics and various red markings. It has six insect-like legs. The back of the beast is covered in a pink veil that stretches far like a cape, leaving the trail behind.
Bumblebee backs away from the monster, shaking this head in despair. It was all his fault why they all died! They just tried to save everyone from this horrible war, but were executed. All because he was useless! She could be alive right now!
The mix of terror and guilt is overwhelming, bringing Bumblebee to his knees. He’s unable to move away as the monster walks closer. No matter how hard he’s trying to urge himself to run, his body is completely unresponsive. He can’t fight it, nor can he run away.
This is it. There is no way he will survive.
“Bee, can you hear me?” Windblade’s distressed voice shook the surroundings, destabilizing the light void. The white and pink monster didn’t like it a bit and howled back.
“HELP ME!” Bumblebee screams as loud as his voice box allows. He doesn't care if he’s supposed to be brave, he can’t take this anymore.
Windblade drops from the white sky, positioning herself between Bumblebee and the beast. She unsheathes her sword and keeps it ready, but she knows she cannot harm a monster that isn’t hers. Instead, she must break the dream’s sequence.
But how?
Windblade looks over her shoulder to look at her trembling friend and realize it’s too bright in the area. Bumblebee likes darkness, like all nocturnal cybertronians, right?
With full intent in her mind, she stabs the ground with her sword. It cracks at first, spreading far, and then a fountain of darkness pours from all cracks at once.
The monster wails as the black void floods the forest. The level is rising fast and Windblade barely had time to embrace Bumblebee before an enormous wave swept anything in sight.
Everything drowned in the pure darkness. The dream is peaceful, at last. Bumblebee and Windblade are floating in the nothingness. The sight eases his spark and the fear, responsible for freezing his body, is letting go. He hugs his best friend back, relieved that this nightmare was over.
They stayed like this for what feels like an eternity. Bumblebee looks up at her.
“Are you part of my dream?” He asks what he feels is a rhetorical question.
“No.” Windblade softly replies. “Your pulse got out of hand and the terrifying expression that was on your face scared Ratchet. So he called for my help.”
His optics widened in awe, not expecting such an answer.
“You... came into my dream? That’s so cool! I thought you can only go into people’s conscious minds or something.”
She giggles in return, relieved to see a positive change in his mood.
‘It’s a bit hard to get into the unconscious part of one’s mind, but I can manage to some degree.”
Bumblebee smiles in relief, feeling much better that she’s here with him. Then he released Windblade looks different. Her body looks like it was made out of the night sky. Stars inside her are shining brightly. The most bright stars form a constellation outlining her form. In her chest is the brightest one, pulsing along with her sparkpulse.
“Wow, you look pretty… but why?” Bumblebee wonders, seeing nothing like this before.
“That’s because I’m in your dream. I’m not supposed to be here, so your mind is trying to fit me into your psyche. I always appear differently in other patient’s minds.”
“I see! What will happen now?”
“You can go back to dreaming, or wake up.”
“I wanna wake up!” He said without thinking. “I had enough of dreaming for today!”
Bumblebee forces himself awake.
--------
Bumblebee wakes up in his room. The pink goop is slowly filling his surroundings. Slag, he is still dreaming!
“Bee?” Windblade looks at him with worry. “Are you alright?”
“Sorry, I’ll try again.”
Trying to not panic, Bumblebee forces himself awake.
--------
Bumblebee wakes up in medbay, the pink goop is still filling the room. Something is moving in the corner, reminding the monster he encountered earlier. Soft murmurs surround him.
He can’t leave!
“I’m sorry…” Bumblebee whispers, on the verge of panic. “You’re trapped here with me!”
“We’re not.” Windblade reassures him. “How about this: try to visualize a door that will lead you to the waking world. Imagine it forming slowly as it creates the safest path for you.”
“I...okay, I’ll try.”
Steadying himself, Bumblebee imagines an exit forming in the middle of the pink pool. It turns black as waxing Luna-1 arises, slowly filling the circle in mid air. As the circle fills, the outline of the door becomes more defined. When the Luna-1 becomes full, the door is ready.
Bumblebee and Windblade exchanged looks. She nods in encouragement. Exhaling, he opens the door. It’s pitch black inside. Then he takes a step forward.
--------
Bumblebee wakes up in the medbay, and this time it’s real.
He feels a dull ache in both of his hands and his head feels cloudy. He slowly sits up and is greeted by Windblade's soft smile. She looks normal, proving he’s awake.
“Hey.” Bumblebee greets her back.
“Hey. How are you feeling?”
“Numb, but I think I’m okay.”
Bumblebee feels a wave of relief coming from his friend's spark, but the worry is still present. Her gaze lowers. He lowered his optics to see what she’s looking at. His hands come into view. They are wrapped in black silicone-like stuff that is used to seal a patient’s wounds.
This moment he remembered. Ouch, no wonder he feels a dull pain.
What’s gonna happen to him, though? Is she going to be mad at him? Or disappointed? Or--
“Ratchet said you will recover without a problem. I asked him to leave us alone so I could talk to you about this.” Windblade says in a serious, yet tender tone. Bumblebee doesn’t sense any anger, but he’s afraid he is just projecting. He stays silent, not knowing what he should say, so Windblade continues.
“I know it’s really hard to ask and accept help, but I will keep reaching out to you. This accident terrified us. I thought you might die because you lost so much energon!I thought Cheetor with Blaster’s cassettes would rip Sunstreaker and Cliffjumper to shreds!” Her voice gets louder with fear. Bumblebee never saw her in such distress before. Things must have gotten ugly after he fainted. “Please, talk to me, or ask Lifeline to help you. You might die if you keep holding all this pain inside!”
Bumblebee stares into her optics in disbelief. Did she and others cared so much about him? But why? He's not worth it. Did he manipulate them into loving him?
“No! What makes you think that?!” Windblade loudly protests, looking even more concerned than before.
Did he say it out of loud? Or is she reading his mind right now? Either way, the answer to this question was obvious.
“I mean, why would some care about me?! I’m weak and can’t help much. I’m stupid because I’m afraid of simple things and can’t figure out my own stuff. I’m not even real, because I wasn’t forged!” Bumblebee’s voice gets more desperate and angry as he goes on.” I don't even know what I am and why I’m here! Why would someone make me?!”
Bumblebee drops his head into his hands, being on the verge of tears. “I don’t know what I am supposed to do anymore.”
Windblade’s spark aching, troubled by his words. She moves closer and takes his hand into her own. He doesn’t look up, ashamed for dumping all unpleasant emotions like this. She places her free hand on the back of his head, caressing it gently with her thumb.
“I care about you.” Windblade says sincerely. “There is nothing wrong with being weak. No one maintains their strong side all the time. Not even Optimus.” She pauses, seeing Bumblebee looking at her with his tired optics. “And I don’t think you’re stupid. You have a lot on your plate. I see your suffering. The latest events made everything worse for you. Yet, you keep hiding your pain because you don’t want to bother others.”
She pauses again, making sure Bumblebee processes anything she’s saying. His expression changes, the pain grows noticeable as the walls he built around it break. He wanted to protest, to keep saying all those nasty things over and over, but couldn’t find his voice. Instead, he bites his trembling lip.
Windblade feels nothing but sadness and compassion. She wraps her hand around his shoulders, pulling him closer.
“I want to help, Bumblebee. I want you to be happy! You are a real person, with your own interests, strengths, fears... like everyone! You belong no matter what Sunstreacker and his friends are trying to prove.”
Hearing the last words made something inside him snap, releasing all tension he’s been holding. Bumblebee hugs Windblade, crying into her shoulder. She returns the hug, gently stroking his back.
"But I-I'm just a burden!" He wails.
"You're not! And even if you are, there is nothing wrong with this either. People are supposed to help each other in need. You always care for others." She says gently, tightening her embrace. "Let me care about you."
Bumblebee cannot find any more words or arguments. He keeps crying, letting out all the pain with fat nitrogen tears, clinging to her like his life depends on it. In a sense, it truly does. If not for Windblade, he would have fallen apart already.
They sat like things for quite some time until Bumblebee calmed down.
Exhausted, he stays in Windblade’s embrace, taking in the warm moment. He focuses on her spark. It pulses calmly, lulling him back into sleep. He resists the urge, as he’s not ready to face a potential nightmare. Few seconds later, he notices a bunch of sparks outside of this room. Anxiety radiates from them.
“There are many people outside…” he says.
“Yes, your friends are worried about you. Do you wanna see them?”
“N-no! I mean, I’m not ready.”
“Understandable. I will tell them to give you space. Do you want to go back to your room? Ratchet says you can leave as long as you are careful with your arms.”
Bumblebee thinks for a moment. Getting out of medbay sounds nice, but in his room?
“I don’t want to go back there. It’s empty, it makes me feel lonely.” He knows he downplayed the situation, but he still doesn't want to make her worry more than she is.
“Hm… what if you stay in my room? There is enough space for both.”
“Are you okay with this?”
“I wouldn’t offer it if I wasn’t.” She lets out a small giggle, making Bumblebee smile a bit.
“Alright.”
--------
Bumblebee wakes up alone after a dreamless sleep. Few days have passed since he moved to Windblade’s room. He’s laying on the side of the bed near the wall, tangled in his blanket. Resting here took a positive effect as he felt secure in her proximity.
Cuddling together made him temporarily forget about his problems. Even if wakes from another nightmare, the warmth and pressure of his friend calms his agitated neurowires, allowing to get back to sleep with little fear.
And because he’s afraid less, Bumblebee began to pay more attention to what he sees in his dreams, even giving those white with pink veil monsters nicknames.
The Cluster, the monster with a thin long neck and many faces.
The Maw, the monster, split in half, forming a huge maw with countless teeth.
There's another one that he struggles to name. It has a long serpentine body, with many tendrils sprouting out of its middle section. The most distinct feature is a huge see-through a hole in its chest. It also has small horns like his! Bumblebee never saw it up close, but it instills a lot of ugly feelings into his spark.
The minibot sits down, looking around. Windblade's room is the total opposite of his - an absolute chaos! Many things scattered across, datapads stacked on the table, there are energon cubes they recently used in the corner.
One might think that she is just lazy to keep her room tidy, but Bumblebee knows better. Windblade easily gets overwhelmed with monumental tasks, and she easily forgets things if distracted.
He assumes she was going to take those cubes to the washer, but someone or something took her attention and boom - she forgot about cubes entirely.
Same with many little things, because if they aren't in her direct line of sight, she forgets their existence. And it gets harder to find anything as the chaos in her room grows.
Bumblebee often helps to find something. He has good visual memory; it works great even here!
He enjoys organizing, and is already thinking about ways to tidy Windblade's room so she would always see where her things are. He was always shy about offering his help, but now he wanted to repay her.
A ping comes from his personal datapad. A message from Windblade.
'I'm coming back with energon cubes. Are you feeling well? If so, how about we gonna talk about it today?'
Perhaps it's time to talk about... whatever is going on with him. No matter how many times Bumblebee tries to figure out what transpired after his fight with Sunstreacker and his friends, he just can't understand.
It’s scary, but Windblade knows what she’s doing, so he puts his trust in her to deal with this mess.
"So, it wasn’t a suicide attempt, right?" Windblade carefully asks, sitting on pillows beside Bumblebee with a datapad in hand. He told her anything he could, about his fears, false awakenings, monsters and ugly thoughts. This is going better than he expected.
"Yeah. I just tried to feel anything. It was supposed to hurt, but I felt nothing."
"I see…" She mutters as she types in her datapad.
"What do you think happened?" He waited patiently until she finished typing.
"It seems like you had a severe case of dissociation that triggered a panic attack, that led to your spark malfunction." Windblade proposes, while still brainstorming any other possibilities.
"Dissociation?" He tilts his head to the side. He heard this term before, but never bothered to look it up.
"Yes, it's when your processor detaches you from your physical and emotional experiences. In other words, you feel disconnected from reality."
"Why would my processor do that? That was terrifying!" Bumblebee exclaims. Isn't his processor supposed to keep him safe?
"Usually it's a self-preservation mechanism to save you from pain while you're in a dangerous situation. People usually feel numb and 'not here'. Yet it scared you, correct?"
"Yes, I thought I stopped existing! I... I guess it's also a phobia of mine? As strong as being alone for too long or, um... tendrils?" The last word made him squirm in place, remembering the tendril monster from his nightmares. Windblade nods, making more notes to herself.
"And that intense fear caused a panic attack. You bit your arms in an attempt to ground yourself. Since you were dissociating, you felt no pain, terrifying you even more.”
Bumblebee nods, unexpectedly feeling relief upon understanding what happened. It wasn't some random thing, but a chain of events tied to his unresolved psychological issues.
"Is it weird I suffer from those phobias? I would understand if I had a fear of heights or something. But those things don't seem threatening enough…" He trails off.
"Phobias are often irrational. They're the result of your experience. You went through a traumatic event, or multiple events, so your primal protocols are trying to protect you from that. Sadly, it’s not always work, causing a lot of problems.” Windblade pauses, thinking about approach in this situation.
“We can try dealing with your phobia of tendrils by doing exposure. I'm sure Botanica will gladly assist us in desensitizing and providing a safe environment. Other two though, you still can't remember anything from your past, right?"
Bumblebee slowly shakes his head.
"To properly deal with trauma, we need to address what happened and process it. I had patients that tried hard to suppress their terrible memories, which often made their trauma worse."
"Not sure if I'm doing this. It feels like my processor prevents me from remembering." Bumblebee thinks for a moment, trying to remember anything useful.
"That can happen too." Windblade reassures him, while looking puzzled for a moment. "If you want, I might try to recover your memories."
"You can do that?" Bumblebee asks in surprise.
"Yep! Remember when I told you I can enter people's minds? I can visit your mindscape, a hub of your psyche, and look for info there." She nods.
His optics shine with awe. It's been a while since Windblade saw him like this. That's a good sign.
"Yes, let’s do it! When do we start? Do I need to prepare anything?"
Windblade can't help but laugh at his enthusiasm.
"We can try it now. I need to fully adjust to your mindscape first before I look for information. You don't need to do anything, just lay down and relax."
"Alright!"
Bumblebee gets up and walks to the bed, laying on this side by the wall. Windblade follows and lays down next to him.
"When I start, you will feel like falling asleep. Then you will end up in a dreamy state, but in your mindscape. I will appear shortly after." Windblade instructs him, mentally preparing herself to dive into her friend's mind.
"Understand. I'm ready." He closes his optics.
Windblade nods and links herself to Bumblebee. Then she feels like a force pulls her consciousness out of her body.
--------
Bumblebee wakes up in a strange place. He finds himself floating as if he's submerged under water. It's dark, like in open space. Above him, a swirl of countless lights, looking like a galaxy. Below him is a pitch black surface. Around him he sees many hexagons, many of them are lit up.
"Wow!" he utters in awe.
Windblade materializes beside Bumblebee, looking like she was in his dream before.
"Woah!" she mirrors his amazement. "So beautiful!"
"I didn't expect this to be honest. I thought it's gonna be full of monsters or something." He turns to her in confusion. Windblade gives him a comforting smile.
"Mindscape reflects who you are. Elements you can see are part of your very being. Monsters, on the other hand, are a representation of your trauma, and while they are part of you as an experience you went through, they are not necessarily the core of your 'you'."
A wave of relief washes over Bumblebee's spark. This is comforting to hear.
"So, what are you gonna do now?" He asks in curiosity, feeling excited about seeing something new.
"Let's examine the place by using the central unit that should be somewhere here." Windblade turns around, carefully scanning the environment, looking for something standing out. "Ah-ha!"
She sees a crescent moon, reflecting on the pitch black surface. "That must be it, let's go!"
Bumblebee follows his friend, making sure he's not too distracted by dancing lights above. In a few moments they reach the center of his mindscape.
Windblade examines the moon reflection.
"It looks like Luna-1 in the sky. No Luna-2 though, interesting."
"Maybe because Luna-2 was commissioned by the Functionist Senate for some weird reason?"
"Ahah, yeah, just to flex on everyone how rich they were, nothing more." Windblade sneakers. "I read they originally intended to make a perfect replica of Luna-1, in density and all."
"By the stars, that would be a huge disaster! Seems like the rich always showed that stupidity is their key feature!" Bumblebee laughs menacingly.
"Exactly! They were so confused because they firmly believed that money was an issue. Thank the stars, good scientists convinced them that a hollow satellite was a better option!"
They have a good laugh for a minute, then Windblade touches the reflection. It fills until it becomes a full moon and rises as a glowing sphere. Upon touching it shows various stats: from body functions to memory cells. Windblade frowns at the latter.
“What’s wrong?”
“The data shows an enormous amount of memory cells.”She looks around to confirm her suspicion. Sensing his question, motions to a nearest floating hexagon.
"This is a visual of the memory cell, it records and stores anything you experience. The longer you live, the more you have... I don't think I saw anyone with so many before. And clearly not all of them are presented here!”
"Is this why I have amnesia? But where is rest? Erased?"
"Not erased for sure, otherwise the number would be much lower. It's like… not just a couple of centuries of experience, but millions!"
That doesn't make sense. "But wasn't I created a few centuries ago? I'm confused…"
"Me too Bumblebee, me too." Windblade mumbles, feeling they are getting into something deeper than they expected. "Still, if not erased, where those cells can be hidden?"
Bumblebee and Windblade look down, staring into black abyss under their feet. They exchanged looks as both had the same idea. Bumblebee presses his foot on the surface to see if he can submerge. The moment pressure is applied, a golden trim appears under his foot.
It looks like a part of an unknown interface. It pushes his foot away.
"What is this?” Windblade kneels, touching the golden trim. This looks familiar. It pushes her too, not letting her hand go into the abyss. Then she notices something.“I think I see more cells there!”
“Really?!” Bumblebee crouches down to gaze into black waters below. There are hexagonal silhouettes, along with shapes he cannot recognize. “So, the rest of my memory is there, but the golden thing is not letting me in.”
“It seems so. This, hmm, let's call it a ‘seal’, blocks your access to your older memories. I have never seen anything like it though.” Windblade is puzzled, not sure how to proceed. She saw many things at her job, but not this.
Bumblebee frowns. He hoped to find answers, but they are barely scratching the surface. Before he could say anything, something caught his optic. He stares down. At first there was nothing then the next second a blue cybertronian with red markings around her optics appeared in black waters. She stares back at him.
“AH!” Bumblebee stands up quickly. His optics are widened, he knows this person. She appeared in his dreams before.
“Bee, what’s wrong?” Windblade rushes to him, alarmed by the sudden reaction. She looks down to see what he sees. There is something blue, but she can’t make it out. “What do you see?”
Bumblebee stays silent, feeling terror, along with guilt, grief and loneliness. When he found his voice again, he could only say:
“Lightbright?!”
Suddenly, everything got drowned into darkness.

Finally I found courage to continue!
Note, I never been to therapy ( and probably never be bc how unacceptable mental help is) so I apologize for my bullshitting my way through. I read a lot of psychological stuff, mostly to help myself in my hopeless situation, so here we are!
I hope you enjoyed this story, reblogs and comments are appreciated and motivate me to write more~

“—as reports from earlier in the day confirm Soundblaster’s relic—sorry, Meister’s relic—has been confiscated and the music ended. Meanwhile, inter-faction rivalries look to be resolving! In fact, Drift’s days of drifting seem to be over—here, Raindance, give me the camera—there they are! Wonder of wonders, Drift wears an Autobrand now! Ever since his defection from the Decepticons last vorn, it’s been more difficult than usual for authorities to keep track of him, but he seems happy to be held in place now, a proper ally to the popular Autobots Cheetor and Rodimus Prime. Despite former clashes with Rodimus, lately he’s demonstrated marked willingness to cooperate with him. Let’s see if they have some opinions to share…
Excuse me, Autobots! Do you have a statement for the public about your new member? Could you speak to the reactions of the Decepticons and other factions? Is it possible—
Oh, c’mon! Hm. Well, at least we got a good shot of them, right? Live from Iacon, this has been Rewind with PBN! Back to you, Andromeda.”
(This is near the end of 04- It’s Over Once and For All! An Upgrade to Decisions. Here’s a version without the grainy overlay)
"I remember Megatron before Devastation Era: he used to be caring, always wishing the best for the people. He fully gave himself to the noble cause. His burning passion could light the way for the lost. He always knew he can make the change that matters.
Sadly, Megaton was naïve, and combined with his undying passion and narrow vision, he became the perfect puppet in hands of Functionists."
