All Hail Starscream

A snippet from a future chapter titled 'All Hail Starscream'

"I'm sorry, I don't think you quite understand your position in this situation. Breakdown," Starscream turned to Breakdown. "Can you tell me which one of us is a leader of the Decepticons?"

"You, obviously." Breakdown said.

"Thank you." Starscream smiled, then faced Soundwave. "Soundwave, can you please remind me the name of a person who makes decisions around here? Something on 'B', maybe? My memory is really bad today."

:It's Starscream.: Soundwave confirmed.

"Yes. It's Starscream." Suddenly Starscream's smile became sharper, more predator like. Feeling intimidated, Bludgeon started stepping back and the Decepticon leader activated his jetpack to tower over him as he floated closer.

"We may not be on Cybertron, but that doesn't mean you are the one who gets to set the rules around. I am the leader and I'm giving you an opportunity to join my team, not the other way around. Literally any Decepticon could wipe you out with ease, even Barricade."

"I heard that!" Barricade said from the distance.

"The simple truth is, you are just a small, weak scarecrow without our help. All you can do is hide behind your opponents' fears like a coward and hope they won't figure out your trick, yet you act like you own the place when I'm around. You are already a pathetic excuse of a 'super villain', do you really wish to go any lower?"

Bludgeon shook his head, optics couldn't have gone any wider. Suddenly Starscream flew forward, scowling right in his face.

"Then get off your self-importance train and stop giving me reasons to kick you out!" At this point Bludgeon's knees completely gave up on him and he fell on his back while Starscream remained in his position. "Am I making myself clear?"

"Yes, s... sir..." Bludgeon said quietly, feeling his frame shaking when he saw that Starscream's smile softened again.

"Good." He said and returned on the ground. He gave the other a flick in the head before leaving him to return to the rest of his crew. Even after he was gone, Bludgeon remained on the floor, completely terrified. At some point Slipstream flew down from the sky and kneeled before him, chuckling.

"Looks like someone's in trouble." She smirked, finding the situation more amusing than she should have.

Megatron, please acknowledge me. OWO.

Megatron scratches his head, staring at the confusing question. He ignores pretty much everything about it and entirely focuses on the last word which he has never met with before. Is this a threat of some sort?

Suddenly he hears laughter coming from the nearby area in the base and he decides to seek anwers. He disappears in a flash and reappears seconds after in the kitchen where the youngest of the group are having breakfast.

"Excuse me, children. Do you have a moment?" The kids stop their conversation and glance at the older mech who smiles shyly. "You see, I'm answering this question and I don't believe I know the proper context to it. Do any of you know what 'o-w-o' stands for?"

To his surprise, all of them cringe away with the most disgusted and horrified expressions he ever saw them making. Moonracer even spats out her drink, coughing. It seems that Megatron has entered something he grew to call 'the forbidden zone' only few were brave enough to learn about beyond rumours.

Why are they trying to avoid the Council noticing them?

Because aside from Optimus none of them are qualified by them to take care of the groundbridge crisis and he was forbidden from doing anything after the battle on Nemesis. He can only be included once the Matrix is returned to him.

Wheeljack starts it all and does it basically by breaking into Optimus' house. Threatened by the Prime calling the authorities on him he reveals his plan of making an experimental spacebridge that would help him search the universe for his friend Bumblebee. Optimus himself grows impatient with Ultra Magnus' promises of returning Hot Rod and the Matrix so despite the orders he decides to help. It's only a matter of time until the rest of the group joins in and begins their secret project
