"Don’t you always?" Rin mumbled, though his tone alluded to the silent of course I will to Miyuki’s silent statement through his smile. It wasn’t like Rin didn’t already know Kazuya would do whatever he wanted, and if he were being honest with himself, it always ended up well for them. Of course, that left the question as to what Kazuya would want to do this time. Despite the tone he would use, there were quite a few times he had fooled Rin into thinking they would be doing something intimate, when they were, in fact, not. It was always a damn guessing game.
"Then, I’m going to do what I want, too," And really, he knew Kazuya had been luring him into it, with this position and how close they were, their noses brushing against each other. Really, he was just asking for Rin to close that gap and press his lips to Kazuya’s, a feeling he hadn’t felt in such a long time.
❖ — A kiss. A regular, familiar gesture between the intimate, but certainly one that hadn’t been used by either of them in.... well, a long time, as Rin thought. The time and distance couldn’t have been helped much, but to both of their advantage it wasn’t something easily forgotten; just like how with a few pedals forward one can ride a bike as if they never stopped, their mouths matched each other in fluid motions, pushing and pulling, easing and following through an unspoken rhythm only the two of them would ever know.
The separation was slow, as if reluctant, but their bodies remained flush against one another while Miyuki rolled his head back, opening his eyes languidly. Taking a good look at Rin, he couldn’t help but chuckle, not out of ridicule or irony, but genuine happiness. “You missed me, right?”
