Actually Canon Headcanons!

So, I was thinking that, because my muse is beyond dead in TGB, while I’d still like to have some trace of activity… I would like to do something that is a common thing in the human RP community but not in the cat one: Discuss or get offered headcanons and decide they are actually canon in the group!

How it works: Simply send me a message of a headcanon you would like to become real (i.e. an interaction of characters which you think about a lot, but which we never got/get to roleplay or you think is not worth an actual roleplay) involving my characters. If I like it, I will make it canon, and it will become an actual part of their canon interaction history. This method is a lot easier to quickly settle on smaller developments without having to do a way too long roleplay to make it canon (i.e. you have a headcanon that your character and mine go fishing together occassionally. It’s easier to say this is a thing instead of having to RP it)

So yeah… if you are interested, send me your headcanon and I’ll tell you what I think about it! We can also discuss headcanons, if you only have a vague idea but are insecure about something ;w;

Note: This can also involve first meetings! Discussing how characters would meet is a lot easier for me as well, since I have struggle keeping motivation for cat-meets-cat roleplays!

To Castail-What was it like being Tzurai's deputy?

Castail: Well...it wasn't much of anything, really. We weren't particularly close, like Kin and Cyrus, or Cenek and Sojir. I mean, I was more or less just a body to take the place of her best friend who wanted to care for his mate and new litter instead of help lead a battalion.

But.....we worked, in the long run.

I was there when she had her second litter, and I let them crawl all over me like fleas when she had other responsibilities. She was there for me, when I was almost snuffed out by a caiman, and she sacrificed a life or two for my benefit, because I only had one life to lose, and I had a mate and new kittens by then to think about. I took on Arcis after she died and Nobuo when a-wall, because she was a raw spit fire, and Tzurai loved her like one of her own.

I think I may have gone a bit stir crazy during my leadership, because it seemed like every decision I made was for her approval. Perhaps Shadow tribe and Fire tribe would be on better terms if I had just accepted Cenek’s offer of friendship, and I had Charley tell him the truth, and apologized for not sending at least some one out to tell him we had his son and I just swallowed my spirits forsaken pride for one damned moment and apologized!.... But I was so afraid of disappointing a cat who was just above an acquaintance to me....and who had given me more than I deserve in life.

Being Tzurai’s deputy was probably the last bit of peace I had ever experienced in my life time...and I can’t thank her enough for that peace..

Niach: Dad... I'm... I'm sorry. I'm sorry that I left and that I didn't say goodbye to you and... And that I've just been a shitty daughter... I hope... You're happier now... Why didn't you get help? Someone could have saved you, I bet... Anyway, I guess I want to ask; do you regret leaving?

Castail: -swallows thickly- -offers kind smile- You need not apologize for that. At the time, I may not have even argued against it. And you were never a terrible daughter. You were always right about me -ears droop- I was wrong to show you less attention than your sister, there is no excuse for that...but I assure you, I never loved you any less. You’ve made me so proud, from the moment you came to fire tribe. You never needed my guidance in anything; you found your own way with every step you took. Independence is definitely not something you inherited from me -chuckles- I’m happy enough, with just the knowledge that you’ll never need to depend on someone else to survive.

-looks at paws for a moment, then sighs- I suppose I could have gone back, in the beginning. My injuries were painful, and I had but one bad eye left to me, but I could have made it. But...I...I was afraid, I suppose. Afraid of your mother, and how she would feel. I left her with out a word, and stayed away, even after I learned we had more children..I was afraid of fire tribe, and their reaction. I was afraid of La’va, who was all by himself back home. I’ve feared disappointing others for so long that....I guess it persuaded me into thinking dying was a better fate than owning up to my mistakes...

-shakes head- In some respects, I do regret leaving. Kintsu was the only one I had warned, but still, it was wrong to leave him. He had just endured months of suffering, and I left him. I regret, at the very least, not telling your mother or your siblings anything...but I couldn’t risk any of you wanting to follow me, or talk me out of it. I needed to be away, at lest for a while, but I think postponing my little trip wouldn’t have been so bad either...

On the other hand....while in the north, I met some one. She was a little older than your new siblings and your brother’s sons when I met her, but she was still so young, and I guess her mother had died, and her father was no where to be seen, so I took her in. She was an odd little thing, utterly unable to understand simple concepts such as attachment or compassion, but she tried to learn none the less. We suffered through the winter together; hunting was near impossible due to the snow, and I often went with out eating for two days or more, but she never took ill, and we always had each other to keep warm. I taught her about the tribes, and she grew to distrust them so fervently that I knew I wouldn’t be able to take her home with me. So I stayed with her, till she grew up, and when she was grown, I was....well, you know. I’ll never see your mother or you and your siblings, or my new children and grandsons until you all join me in eden, which I hope isn’t for a long while, but....she would have died had I not found her....maybe I was just meant to die in the north....

Ship with: Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh he had a few but I can’t remember who they were. I thought his crush on Drew was sweet.

Brotp: Alcina and Aruna woooo

General opinions: He was such a small child when he joined orz. Teeny tiny little baby who was so sweet and loved flowing water and AAAAAGH. And now he’s all ravaged and his best friend ever is dead and he has to work to gain water tribe’s trust back and aaaaaaagh. I haven’t paid much attention to Ashon since Charley came onto the scene, but I’m guessing he hasn’t changed much in the last few seasons of his life.

Charley

Ship with: Fadri and only Fadri it’d be sacrilegious if I mentioned anyone else at this point.

Brotp: Fadri again, and Psych boo boo

General opinions: Again, with the life turning upside down on a dime. Charley’s character has been amazingly portrayed-she’s possessive has hell and won’t take anyone’s shit if what she wants is being taken away from her. But she’s loyal as hell to those she loves and would totally die for them if need be. I think, if she’d gotten attached to a cat that did mind her setting anyone and everyone who disrespects her on fire, she’d be in a much better state now, but I don’t fault Fadri at all for the way he is. Charley and him are honestly pretty great together.

Cas will be so happy to see her again, when he comes home ;u;

Reus

Ship with: Besides him still being pretty young and childish, I haven’t noticed him having any particular romantic feelings towards anyone

Brotp: Elliott and Lusa and Evaline and Timothy and Ech and Pangur and Kema

General opinions: Roran has to be the best portrayal of a young boy I’ve ever seen. He’s spoiled and bratty and refuses to use his inside voice, and he’s amazing for it. He owns everything and everyone and if even one person infringes on his things, Palette will hear about it LMAO no but I think he’s grown up quite nicely. He’s learning the consequences of jumping into things with all four paws, and genuine does love and respect his family and friends.

Brotp: Tara and Kaze. And kinda sorta Kyer for venting purposes

General opinions: You know those characters who when you hear their name, you immediately feel sad? Shi makes me want to curl up under my bed and knaw at the carpet as I smear tomato sauce all over my face. She does over-dramatize things usually, but she rivals Kin when it comes to sheer bad luck. In fact, I think together they have shown that no matter what you think is bad, it can always get worse. But besides that, I enjoy the weird self hatred she has for herself-always hanging on to everything she’s done and always thinking everyone who holds her in esteem just refuses to understand how horrible she really is. Her life has gone quietly to shit in the shortest time frame I’ve ever seen. Seriously. What the fuck Shibui

But yeah I love her. And Iris loves her too but she just said that bs cause she needs to get over herself lol.

Pangur

Ship with: He has like a hella lot more than what I’m gonna list now but Aries, Aoba, Sanibel, and Kato are the one’s that come to mind.

Brotp: Everyone. Even Quesnel and Larka. Everyone. No question about it.

General opinions: Pangur is sweetest bear baby who loves snugglies and wants everyone to love each other and be a big happy family orz. But honestly, it feels like this will to help anyone and everyone (and love anyone and everyone) will ultimately be the thing that breaks him. I’m really afraid for him, considering the reputation tgb has for death LMAO. Pangur’s bounced back pretty well from a lot of the things he’s been through, but I mean, there can always be that one thing that just keeps him in a whole of disparity and numbness. wow silv calm down

General opinions: Homeless man that likes to stare at everyone like a piece of meat. And also very pretty kitty. Is it bad that I’m holding out hope that he lives long enough and is still relatively single so he can meet Um and they can touch each other’s weird parts? That’s a terrible thing to say. Whatever-I’ve said worse. But yeah. I like how just absolutely lazily petulant he is about his territory. Like ‘dude there’s a fence of my piss around the area can’t you smell? Now go get me something to eat.’ while hanging over a tree branch AND also looking at said cat’s ass. I hear Jonny Knoxville’s voice in my head every time he speaks, what does this mean?

General opinions: Introverted brownie cat that doesn’t talk. What is better than that? You know that gif of the two girls eating ice cream looking at some one in a judging manner? I think that sums up Matti’s over all existence pretty well. Everyone is shit and needs to stay exactly 75 feet away from him at all times and not speak to him at all because everyone’s an idiot

Shibui: I won't expect you to forgive me, or ask you to. I know I don't deserve it. But I want you to know... That is, if you don't already... I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry. I didn't mean for things to end this way. I regret it, every day. There were so many this i could have done differently, so many bad choices I made... I can never apologize enough. This was one mistake that I can never atone for. Your life was worth so much more, you should have lived on... And I... I think I loved you a bit.

Iris: -opens mouth, then closes-.....What do you have to be forgiven for? -tilts head, almost forcefully, trying to sound impassive- It was an accident, wasn’t it? A slip of the paw, right? I...I don’t think I would ever come close to doing what you did for Kintsu, if I was in your place, and Coud were in his. Being selfish for some one else should be some what noble, I think.

Ship with: Again, the irony of a Cas child and Cenek child hooking up gets me every time. But I honestly don’t really ship Anna with anyone really. At least not seriously. She seems like the type that really needs a tight, solid bond of trust with some one before anything like love can be brought up. I suppose Kato’s getting close lD

Brotp: La’va and uhhhhhhhh shit Ktori cause they’re both low key and they can be low key together.

General opinions: It’s no secret that I have issues following characters that aren’t directly involved with my own orz. I’m still sad Cas and her didn’t form some type of bond past mild apprehension and fear on her side and withdrawn curiosity on his. But I like her as a character. I feel like she has this soul-searching quality to her. She has to find her place in the grand scheme of things before she can think of sharing herself with anyone else. But maybe I’m completely off. I dunno, but I like characters that seem deep.

Anna’s fun to read about, and I’m curious about her future in the group <3
