Sometimes, I just don't get it. I am a transwoman, very proud of my gender and loving my transition. There are a lot of blogs on here I follow. Some of them, however, keep insisting that because I'm Trans that makes it gay if I have sex with a man. So how does it make me gay if I have sex with a man when I am a woman? And something else, why does anyone, especially the federal government, need to get involved and fight my transition? What I do in my life is my business, not theirs. If I'm going to the restroom, I'm doing three things, first I am relieving myself, second I'm fixing my makeup, and finally, I'm checking my hair, just like any other woman. Just something that I needed to get off of my chest.

I have been awake and thinking tonight. Just randomly thoughts going through my head. Why is this country so fixed on what a girl has in her pants? Why is everyone so scared of transgirls? What did we do to harm so many people that we are now despised so much? When did science take a back seat to hate and political agenda? I have been slowly transitioning for years now. I wanted to take my time, experience the full range of my new puberty and allow my new hormones to do their work. I thought the bigotry would at least be contained by now only to realize that my worst nightmares are reality and I cant step out of my door as myself without constant fear of being attacked, beaten, raped, and hurt. And thats the damnable misery of the whole injustice. It's only getting worse. Transwomen everywhere are afraid of being true to themselves. A cis-guy that I know ACTUALLY told me that transgender men are okay because they want what he has, but transwomen are horrible and need to be discarded. We have been put in the public eye as villains. And it is everywhere. Places considered Trans safe areas are violent against transwomen. This has to stop, this has to change, we have our rights as well. We are being profiled and persecuted in ways that haven't been seen since World War II. Is there anywhere safe for a transgirl anymore?
