Advice

Hi, I was just wondering if you tumblers have any advice for me on how to engage and make the kids I work with feel comfortable as the kids I work with have special needs and I only stay in a specific school for a week at most at the moment? Anything I can research or do classes on?

Just Another Day On The USS Discovery - Sylvia Tilly x Christopher Pike {I don't own the gifs}

Sylvia heard around the ship via her personal Padd being on the forum feed for the ship that there was a new captain of the USS Discovery but nothing about his name, just that he was wearing a bright yellow uniform. Tilly heard her name get called from the ship speakers in her quarters that she was needed on the bridge so she shut down her Padd and went to the bathroom to change into her uniform. 

Tilly looked into the mirror that was adjacent to her shower looking at the strange tattoo mark that she had since she was born that grew with her body, it was a black and white version of earth’s solar system that stretched down her whole rib cage. A mark that up until Tilly went to the Starfleet Academy her mother criticised and covered up with thick makeup so that no one else could see it. Sylvia realised that she was crying and wiped away the tears trying to be strong in the fact she would prove her mother wrong.  Tilly walked out her quarters before almost running to the bridge and seeing the captain mentioned by her crew members. Tilly felt her eyes wander all over him from his salt and pepper hair to his very shiny Starfleet issued boots , unknown to her Captain Christopher Pike was doing the same as he waited for the young woman to say something to him. 

Tilly started doing her job which started with scanning in the new captain’s fingerprints into the system and of course like every other time Tilly opened her mouth she felt her word filter break and commented on the captain's excellent nail beds in which he joked around with her about keeping her at ease with him. A rush of red then appeared on her cheeks. After the captain introduced himself as Captain Christopher Pike to the people of the Bridge and beyond via communication links with the ship, Tilly noticed he put the ship into Red Alert before Captain Pike and Ensign Tilly Collapsed on the floor from pain. 

Tilly’s last thought before the blackness swallowed up her vision on the bridge was this. 

“I always knew he’d find me eventually I just didn’t know it would be like this.” 

There is one thing that the people of Starfleet are scared to talk about is soulmates because of the effects of having a soulmate and it is also rare to find a strong soulmate bond with someone . The only way in the universe to find your soulmate is to have the same soulmate mark from birth which is similar to a tattoo as it comes in all shapes and sizes. When you find your soulmate you can tell as your mark changes and you feel a slight painful sensation that becomes more painful the stronger the bond, no one in the history of soulmates has anyone blacked out apart from Captain Christopher Pike and Ensign Sylvia Tilly. 

As Sylvia Tilly started to wake up she saw the white ceilings of sickbay and felt not only a throbbing of her ribs but someone holding her hand. She turned her head to see Christopher Pike pale and squeezing her hand . 

“Ah you're both awake! I was beginning to wonder when you would wake, It turns out what affected you both as I have already told the captain was a very powerful soulmate bond, You might feel dizzy for a while but please try not to stay away from each other while the bond is new as it might cause more trips to sickbay” Dr  Victoria Pollard explained checking Tillys Vitals 

“ How are you feeling ?” he asked, worried, showing in the way his eyes softened seeing Tilly was waking. 

“Okay I guess just shocked and slightly anxious I mean by the fact I am soulmated to a captain that is absolutely handsome and I am just me. A girl who is a ball of nervous energy with no filter. ” She explained getting out the bed slowly and walking to Chris 

“I don’t care about that. Ensign what I care about is the fact that fate pulled us together to heal each other and love each other till we draw our last breath because according to lore on soulmates. One can’t live without the other ” Chris explained realising no one else was in there apart from himself , the doctor and his soulmate so he pulled her gently by the hand to sit down on the bed, his hand grazing her ribs lightly . his short sleeve showing his soulmate mark.

A letter to the future ~ Rebekah Mikaelson

Rebekah walked along the streets of New Orleans from the Lafeyette Cemetery to the . she made a quick top into Algiers and stopped at a stall that sold journals. She picked one that had a white leather-bound cover with a black fleur-de- lis in the centre. Rebekah compelled the owner for the journal and vamped back to the Abbaitor directly to Elijah's study and took out an old calligraphy pen of Elijah's and started to write.

Dearest Hope, When you grow older I will one day give you this journal to explain all the memories which you missed as well as the people like your Aunty Cami and your Stepfather Jackson. I will also tell a few stories from my own past to show you what our family used to be, as you read these ink stained pages please keep in mind two things, that always and forever means you also and that there are no heroes without villains and that their is both in the Mikaelson Family. You have to choose which side to listen to! Love your crazy aunty Bex x

Rebekah put the pen in the ink holder and rested back in her chairs. "Heroes and Villains indeed " She chuckled but kept a smile on her face.
