He shook his head. “I don’t really want to be known like that. And with my luck I would be known for how much I screw up.” Xav picked a piece of vine off of his shoulder.

“Don’t be so hard on yourself, Xavier.” Thalia assisted him by brushing off debris from his back. “Most everyone here is known as a hero already. Just owning up to your bloodline takes bravery.”

“No. That’s the difference. She bothers me. What am I supposed to do? Let her. Fuck that. If she’s going to be a bitch then I’m going to do it back. I don’t plan on messing with her and I don’t hit on her. Why would I? I don’t like her. I only do it because I know it bothers her. So if she tries to bother me then I will do what I can to bother her. So maybe you tell her to be the one to back off.”

“You bothered her. You came onto her and you couldn’t take no for an answer. News flash, she can be a bitch if she wants to, since someone can’t keep it in their pants. I don’t give two shits if you’re doing it out of sincerity or irritability. Actually, trying to bother her on purpose is worse. Why would you even do that? No, you’re gonna back off regardless because you really don’t want to mess with me.”

Aiden chuckled and shook his head. “I really hope you know I don’t avidly go looking for her. She is the one who comes to find me. I don’t mess with her until she messes with me. But I’m sure she doesn’t tell that part of the story.” He said with a shrug. “But hey. If you want to think I start it all go ahead. I frankly don’t care.”

Thalia wasn’t laughing. “If you’re on the bad side on one of my hunters, then you’re on my bad side too. Ugh, don’t sound like you’re five. I didn’t mention you starting anything. All I know is that you bother her and try to hit on her and she wants you to hop off.”

“I’m used to this so I don’t go to the nurse that often anymore. And my name is Xavier. I’m a Demeter kid. I’ve been here a while but I’m not surprised you don’t know who I am. I tend to not try to draw attention to myself.”

“Everyone gets attention drawn to themselves eventually. No one leaves here forgotten. I’m the prime example of legacy, even if it’s annoying sometimes. I’m Thalia, former Zeus kid, current lieutenant of the Hunters.”

“Well you upset Vivi, who I consider one of my closest friends. I suggest staying the fuck away from her, because she’s sworn against men.” Thalia glowered down at him. “You can be here alone, if you’d like.”

“We’ve idly interacted a couple of times ya know nonsensical thing like "cool shirt,I love that band” shizz like that but like but I’ve heard about all the cool shit you’ve done…so you don’t seem like that much of a stranger I guess?“

“Oh, I think you complimented my Fall Out Boy shirt. Yeah, I’ve done my fair share of cool shit for this camp, and for my hunters. You seem to know me but I don’t know you, so let’s fix that.”

“Yeah..” He said softly. “And no I’m not hurt.”

“Good. I didn’t feel like dragging you to the nurse. What’s your name?”

“I was thinking up a tree but if you think your bra is big enough….” Zoe was too bi for this conversation.

“I was kidding. My bra can only hold so much besides my breasts.”
