TWW Fanfic Update - The Niece of Shadows - Chapter 30-33

Fanfic Original Character Illustration

It has been forever since I have illustrated a character. I got a burst of inspiration the other night, so I thought I would take a stab at my original character, Lucy Bloomfield, from my fanfic "The Niece of Shadows". She was inspired by my fifth grade teacher, and I think she is a down-to-earth saint. I will probably evolve this and render in the future, but I wanted to share how I see her in my head.

Something neuroscience-y that helps with prose: attention is selective. A character will not notice everything in a room. They will notice what matters to their goal, fear, desire, training, wound, or obsession. A jealous character notices hands. a hungry character notices food. A soldier notices exits. A lonely character notices pairs. Description becomes character when attention has a bias.

TWW Fanfic Update

Apologies for the delay in posting my darlings! Life has been quite busy and full this past fortnight. Will be working hard to get more of this story posted this coming week. In the meantime, Chapters 27, Chapter 28, and Chapter 29 are now up for "The Niece of Shadows". Just as a heads up, Phin's mischievousness is about to really land her in it.
