Colleen for being a beautiful, kind, loving soul full of wonder & gratitude and having the biggest heart and holding me accountable by telling me to get into nature!
Appreciating the Art of Noticing as an intentional activity.
Colleen saying “Yes I Love that!” “Structured Do-Nothing Time” “Get Out and Notice the World” “Look at That Wonderful Tree” *If I was in Waldorf School, I would want Colleen to be my teacher the whole way through.
The little sparkle in the eyes of crows.
The presence of crows - bringing me the gift of calmness & comfort.
Slowness.
The taste & juiciness of pineapple.
The “breadcrumbs” (synchronicities) & the idea of leaving some breadcrumbs for my future self to find.
The awareness of conviction.
Tiny bird.
Friendly strangers.
The little tiny squiggly antenae in the middle of a flower.
These guys:
Intricacies in all the parts that make up everything around me.
The twisted mighty tree that created a miniature valley that sits under the canopy of elderly mushrooms. A home for a small creature and many more smaller creatures.
The fire-like reflection of the most epic sunset on the splashy wet rocks in the coziest little private beach that I stumbled on in my adventures attempting to drive to Whytecliff, but turned around due to traffic.
People who love the sea like me.
The flower-people (those who bloom) taking a moment to face the sun, closing their eyes and breathing deeply in.
The swishiness of the sea today. *I thank her for her gentle removal of any worries and fears. I can feel her cleansing me with her minerals, bathing me with knowledge from the ancient future and whimsical stories from the deepest, darkest parts of her.
Overhearing someone yelling in the street ‘I love you’ and then thinking it was for me and then hearing it again and smiling.
Sandy toes.
Telling multiple people about the free medicine of the sea. *One woman asked if she should take off her shoes and get in and I said absolutely. That she should get barefoot into nature for 5 mins per day. She touched my arm and said that I wasn’t even cold because I didn’t have goosebumps. I did have goosebumps and I was cold - except the sensation for me was thrilling & healing. Maybe one day she will take off her shoes outside.
Snacks.
Coziness.
The mysteries that uncertainty brings.
My Higher Self.
