Taking a walk

San Francisco is a beautiful city

There's art all around

Yet, around the corner

Hides the blite

People walking

Out of shelters

The early day decay comes out from hiding in warm buildings

First morning high

Already bent over in bliss

Humid wetness all around

The stench is also clear

The feel of grime already noticeable

A hot shower comes to mind

I don't feel unsafe

Yes there are those that will tell you

To be wary

Maybe I should but I'm not

These are lost souls and all i want to do is cradle them

Everything will be alright

I keep walking and i see a Caretaker and two young children in the mist of the decay

Life is just living

Day by day
