sometimes i think about how yaz didn't get the ending she deserved and i want to scream. she sacrificed her whole life—her family, her friends, her job, her ambitions—for thirteen and she put her heart and soul into travelling in the tardis. she learned how to be with the doctor, even how to be the doctor, but all she has to show for it is a brave face and a broken heart. sometimes i think about how yaz lost her co-pilot along with all her hopes and dreams of getting more from the world, and i just want to scream.
