WARNING: Lots of blood and gore, severe gore (I think), baby animals being eaten alive, baby animals being hunted, death, implied fighting, implied death, not implied death, etc. (Honestly might have missed some stuff but that that's the general gist)
This is one of my first stories so pls be nice-it might suck
(No really heed my warnings-even I was kinda disturbed by this)
Roars and shouts echoed across the clearing. Cries of agony and rage clashed under the sound of footsteps and thuds. He didn’t know what the thuds meant. He didn’t know what was happening. He let out a whimper of fear as yellow light engulfed their shelter for a moment before disappearing.
He wrapped his wing around his sister, who sat trembling beside him. He didn’t know what was happening, as they were tucked inside a cave behind some rocks. He knew it wasn’t safe. Mother had tucked them away and told them not to come out. But Mother wasn’t here. And the shouts were getting closer.
Having made up his mind, he turned and ran through the tunnels, his sister letting out a yelp as she fought to keep up. They fled through the winding tunnels of the cavern, the shouts and cries of the other dragons never too far behind.
He glanced back, only to see the tunnel filled with massive wolves, their feet like thunder. He let out a cry, turning sharply to the left as they thundered after them. The wolf’s muzzles and paws were stained red with blood, and their eyes were filled with hate.
He burst out into a large cavern lit with sunlight. A rock pile led up to a small hole in the ceiling, from which the light came from. He hurled himself onto the rock pile, scrambling up towards the light as rocks tumbled out from under him, his sister following suit. The wolves weren’t far behind, eagerly lunging up the pile, their pearly white teeth glistening in the light.
They had almost made it to the top when his sister let out a cry. Loose rocks rained down from below as she slid down towards the snapping jaws of the wolves. He let out a scream as she fell towards the wolves’ hungry jaws.
Blood splattered onto the rocks as the wolves descended upon her, ripping and tearing at her soft flesh. She screamed in agony as they tore her apart, her cries echoing around the cavern. The sickening sound of bones crunching in teeth mixed with the tearing of tendons. A scream of agony gurgled into nothing as blood filled her mouth, bubbling and frothing as she tried to breath. Her vocal cords were ripped from her neck, silencing her cries. Guts and intestines spilled out onto the loose rocks before being eagerly torn off by hungry jaws and bloody muzzles.
He stood there, frozen in horror as he let out a scream of pure terror. The wolves’ heads snapped towards him, letting out hungry growls as his sister's intestines and flesh hung limply from their massive jaws.
This snapped him out of his daze, and he turned and sprinted up the rest of the rocks, the wolves pounding after him. Tears of fear and grief gathered in his eyes, making his vision fuzzy. He lunged through the hole as the wolf’s jaws snapped on thin air; their hot breath scorching his tail.
They turned away, and his ears were filled with the sound of bones snapping and flesh ripping once more. He collapsed from exhaustion, panting heavily. The last thing he heard before falling into a fitful sleep was the twisted melody of muscles ripping and guts splatting onto rough rock.
It honestly is not even that good
