"Good on ya for that too. Some times the people get so tired of coming out this way they don’t even bother checking if it’s even the right guy." He exclaimed, going to take a bite out of his food almost immediately. Simon immediately waved him off to look for change. "Nah, keep the rest of it as a tip or something. Consider it a welcome to the job gift or somethin’" He reassured through a mouthful of his sandwich before quickly finishing the bite and swallowing it back. He looked around at his comment. "Government job. Mostly finances. Kind of boring really, you wouldn’t wanna hear about it." It wasn’t a complete lie, he handled finances day-to-day and while SHIELD wasn’t exactly your conventional government job it was still like one in a way.
"I always make sure I do the job I’m doin’ good. What’s the point of workin’ if you’re not gunna be proud of yourself at the end of the day." Dustin’s eyes widened at the large tip. It was only a five dollar sandwich so it was a $35 tip. "Dang…Thank ya so much sir. Promise I won’t spend all of it on candy." He laughed and shoved the tip into his back pocket. "Sounds a lot more interestin’ than bringing food to people all day. I like my job and everythin’, but I’m just doin’ it until I finish school and get a job writin’ for the New York Times." He said proudly. "I guess I should probably get goin’. Probably already got more deliveries for me to do when I get back. Lookin’ forward to seein you on wednesday sir." He smiled.
"That's probably the best attitude I've ever seen a delivery boy have in a long while. You're definitely going places!" He exclaimed then, pointing upwards for a moment before lowering to hold the food with both hands. "Oh good, I'd hate my tip to go into worsening your teeth. I don't want to have to give bigger tips to cover dental fees, friend!" He joked with a wink before taking a bite out of the sandwich.
He licked his fingers for a moment he shook his head. "Hey man, delivery is pretty cool. Think of all the people you get to meet day-by-day. Get nice enough people and the free time and they might even offer ya some good life stories. New York Times? Really?" He raised both brows, looking a bit surprised. "That's so good goals to set, maybe someday you'll get to do an article on some big events happening with us. I'd be inclined to even offer up interviews if, say a cookie or two somehow got sent along with an order." He implied jokingly, waggling his eyebrows in an conspicuous manner. "Alright, I'll be seeing you and don't let those guys be pushing you around too much. Show a little teeth and they'd be a little less inclined to forcing you into doing stuff!" He offered Dustin a little advice while seeing the delivery boy off.
