During this time, the album debuted at the top of Billboard 200, making it the first solo female rap album to debut at number 1 (landing a spot in the Guinness World Records of 1999 & 2000.) The album was a commercial success, selling 173,000 copies in it’s opening week. Less than two months later, it was certified Platinum by RIAA selling over 1 million copies in the U.S.
