A small twitch came onto his upper lip upon seeing the hyperactive bee. Whilst he was glad to see him-He did hope the other would not be too much to handle.

"Charmy, it’s good to see you,"

It was to some extent, Charmy’s ways would probably get Espio focusing more on the bee than the issues floating about in his mind. He crossed his arms and looked the flying insect up and down.

"You seem to be doing good, that itself is good."

"Hey Espio!" Charmy greeted his co-worker. "I'm terrific! What about you?" The bee asked.

"Sonic and his friends, for starters." Elias replied. "And of course my sister Sally, and my own teammates. Although, hush about that last one." He said, finger on his lips. "That one’s supposed to be a secret, though I don’t think we did a good job keeping it a secret."

Charmy chuckled once again. "You're secrets safe with me Elias!" He then waved his finger across his nose, causing it to wobble a little bit.

"They’re with that knucklehead huh?" Charmy wasn’t surprised.

"I don’t suppose he’s as much as a numb skull in this zone huh?" He was remembering an adventure from a time ago, where Charmy and the other Chaotix were on a mission with the red echidna. He was quite the gullible mobian.

"I wouldn’t know." Elias chuckled. "Sonic’s the one who would know something like that. I do know he’s a good friend and very skilled fighter, though."

Charmy chuckled along.  "So who are your friends then?" the bee pondered. "I don't see any around."

Charmy was curious. 

"What does this zone’s Charmy do? I have no idea what I’d do if I wasn’t a detective. Am I famous?!"

Oh dear. Good job opening your mouth, Elias… he thought to himself. ”Well. He’s sort of the prince of the Golden Hive Colony, here.” Elias replied.

"A prince!?" Charmy said in astoundment, followed by a grumpy face and a folding of arms.  "I should be a King!…But I’ll take what I can get." "So.. what do Vector Espio Mighty and Ray do?" He worried for his fellow team mates.

"Well last I saw them, Vector, Ray and Mighty were on Angel Island with Knuckles. Espio visited us a few weeks ago, but I haven’t seen him since."

"Adventureee." Charmy said in a loud whisper. He then broke out into laughter.

Elias chuckled slightly at the bee. “Well I’m afraid we don’t have much going on right now…” He replied. “But if you wish to remain, I don’t see a problem with that. Just be careful. People might mistake you for our zone’s Charmy.”
