Hey everyone! Sorry I've been kinda m.i.a. this week, had to make those hours to guarantee that I can get my binder. Adulting with my wife, had an emergency situation last night but feeling much better now. With these exclusion of this minor errand we're running I'm on bedrest for the rest of the day. For trans day of visibility, I just wanted to share this little side by side. The one with the longer hair was 2 years ago and the other was just a couple of weeks ago. I'm still pre everything and still trying to find my confidence but I like the direction I'm going. Anyone who knows me irl, knows that the long hair was a phase of mine. Majority of my life I've had short hair, and fell right into the tomboy/dyke label that people put on me. But I found a woman who made me feel like beautiful, honestly, and she allowed me to explore that feminine side of myself. I now know that my femininity wasn't something to hate or to demonize, although I still struggle, but at the same time I haven't been nurturing my true self. Sometime near last November I decide I couldn't deny myself who I was any longer. It feels good to make the small changes I have made and I'm super hopeful for the future and all the changes I've yet to make. I know that this will be a long journey and it won't be easy but I've got to fight for my life, for Silas' life. On a lighter note, hope everyone is having an amazing Friday. Stay safe out there. How's everyone's Friday going so far? 🌟 i got a busy week coming up but it feels great to get up early and get out there and grab life by the balls per se. Never surrender! Never give up, if you want something go and get it. Start small, break it down into steps. Complete step one then step two and so on and before you know it you have what you want.
