i love that this started as a “i wanna draw him, and i have no ideas of where to go with it” and it turned into one of my favourites ive done this year so far. and that’s a tall order, considering how many i’ve done and liked

this was a massive project for quite a while, and i didn’t want to show it off til the stamp rally had concluded lol

anyways, i ended up drawing for the era that i grew up with, the games i could mostly get my hands on - it’s 2007-2012

this era still kinda persists in my works and im not afraid to say that. especially with the amount of Black Knight stuff i draw

i had to add the Storybook pair as the front and centre. the whole piece was literally built around them.

that moment when a 3am throwaway sketch becomes one of your favourites to work on

i didn’t know what to do with these two when i started. it was just… a comfort to work on. especially when life has become a little too much to handle.

i would love to hug a chao in a chao garden, even just for five minutes

i was like “oh yeah, this will be easy, no sweat”, only to find myself stuck weeks later, desperately trying to make it all work

but i did eventually get there

as soon as i saw this skin drop in the mobile titles, i immediately wanted to draw it. something about the way they went about it tickles my brain the right way

and, because i am a dumb and need to include them literally anywhere, Sonic and Shadow have joined in, this time taking the roles of Penumbra (in the front) and Blitz (in the back). they need their lil hunting pack

got asked to draw something for an event, and i ended up going for Joker! was honestly one of the most fun projects i think ive actually worked on, cos i don’t get to draw him very often

and what an honour it was to see my lil designs with the other incredible works for these cards, it’s honestly incredible

and i delivered

got asked if he was in the cards at a con, and while he wasn’t at the top of my list, he was still on there

and the wasted potential i had from a background of a piece deserved to be reused, and thus the king was started

i both love and hate the Excalibur armour, but i think that’s just cos some of its design choices make no sense. and in the few times i have drawn it, ive removed panels, added panels, and gotten that stupid cape off his hips and onto his shoulder where it belongs

love that i started this with no sketch, and no plan, and ended up pulling this thing together. this mass of colours and pain and suffering

and of course, i did a version with the Doom wings, because i just love them too much lol

sure, she still took me three days, but who’s counting

futaba will forever be a favourite, and no one can change my silly little mind

and i refuse to draw her without Morgana. i don’t even know why

its no secret that i absolutely love SatBK, and that includes the two we didn’t get to see much of. i’ll never forgive them for throwing Silver and Jet into party mode and nothing else.

honestly, i was just hoping to draw another of them, and when searching for colour palettes, ended up settling on one that reminded me of Silver

i swear i don’t forget about this account, i’ve been busy, lol

i hate that i’ve never actually drawn Mephiles, cos he’s my all time favourite villain… even if i’ve only just now gotten the opportunity to play 06

there’s something about the way he speaks, and the calmness to his scheming that keeps me coming back

and if i’m honest, the game hasn’t been all that bad. i thought it’d be a lot worse, but it’s actually somewhat holding itself together for me

which isn’t saying a lot
