I find solace in the red that floods horizons when the sun decides to rest.
Those brief glimpse of silence when songs change
When the grass feels a bit softer than a bed.
I enjoy the small things
The lights that glare in the distance from a big city
And the dances trees make when the wind blows.
I'm here for the in betweens
The way shadows change during the winter
And license plates from places I've never been
Random waves to strangers and raindrops finding home on window seals.
