This is a long shot haha but itd mean a lot if you even just read the story behind why I want a Phoenix (rebirth) tattoo ☺
**drug and sobriety talk**
My hard drug use and recklessness was a bit of a wake up call for me. I needed to change my life around. I couldnt live a truly happy life spending $240 on dope a week. It just wasnt going to go anywhere for me. I had tested positive for opioids and methadone. Thats not what I thought I was snorting. I knew something needed to change if I was making decisions like that for the hell of it. After snorting it, going to bed, doing it allover again around 7 times a day, as well as having overdose scares (never fully overdosed but I started showing worrisome symptoms) I decided it needed to be done. For my own physical health, mental health, social life, as well as for my financial situation. So I did it. I went cold turkey and as of Friday, June 31st, Ive been a month sober. No drugs of any sort.
I also decided to attempt to wyit smoking cigarettes for a 3rd time. Maybe this time will be the lucky time. Ive taken up fitness and working out. Ive quit my old job due to drug use and talk from coworkers in the workplace. Im turning my life around. Putting in applications weekly for better jobs that would help me keep clean (kroger, landscaping, etc). They all pay higher as well as drug testing being required if being hired.
Im turning my life around for the better and it feels amazing. The phoenix would be a reminder to myself to not go back to old ways.
Currently all the money is being put in an evelope and hidden from me by a trusted person in my life. That way there is absolutely no way for me to find no matter what the cause or reason. Hardwork, dedication, and patience can get you far if you have a goal.
