BIOGRAPHY:
Alphonse Delacour grew up truly loved, both he and his sister were spoiled rotten by their parents or so he thinks. From a young age, the boy had been far more interested in less violent pursuits than his male relatives, preferring to read and draw. Soon enough he discovered his true obsession. Muggle art, the capturing of unmovable moments. He adored everything he had to do about it. Every little bit of new information, new artist he became more and more fascinated by the whole thing. Once he was old enough Alphonse spent hours in the Louvre, blending in with muggles, learning their habits, and listening to the guides speak about each art exhibited in those grand halls.
His parents, of course, wished him to remain more physically active so Alphonse picked up French sword dueling. He enjoyed the elegance of the sport along with the rules that were clear on how to have a dignified duel. After the sword, he learned to enjoy horseback riding. He preferred having a companion in the form of a horse to flying on the broom. He was delighted when his parents gifted him a horse that was able to fly. Calling the new friend Nova the two spent most of his free minutes during summer soaring above the clouds or exploring the fields around his property.
When his sister transferred to England he followed. It was only natural after all, even so, the man missed his home, his parents, and the comfort of familiar shores more and more each day.
QUOTES:
"Amor vincit omnia" - "Love conquers all" "Art comforts the disturbed and disturbs the comfortable." "And once my soul has left, carry me back to my childhood yard, bury me in familiar grass." "To you, I am a distant memory yet I cannot exist without your warmth"
