MCW Not Allowed to Spend Money

Michael Carter-Williams isn't allowed to make it rain. Yet. Transitioning to the NBA is quite the leap for rookies, especially financially. Many of them go from unpaid college athletes to multimillionaires overnight...

I LOVE this story. Too often you hear stories of athletes essentially running out of money (i.e. Antoine Walker, who made well over 100 million dollars in his career) and this always baffles me. HOW DO YOU GO THROUGH SO MUCH MONEY!? Cause can a girl borrow $5? 

Kudos to Michael Carter-Williams' family for recognizing how many young athletes go astray when faced with millions of dollars suddenly in their pocket and doing something to protect him and his assets. LOVE IT.

I can't believe I didn't know about this! NBA Inside Stuff was one of my favorite shows growing up so I'm beyond excited right now. Can't wait to tune in!

It's bad enough that New Orleans changed its name to the Pelicans. It's terrible. Now they've added the scariest mascot of all time. It's as bad as the scary King from the Burger King commercials a couple of years ago. Just yikes.
