“non men attracted to non men” is exclusive to women who only like women because lesbian is not an umbrella term. that definition means that you’re attracted to everyone but men but what actual lesbians only like girls.

A list with explanations of each sexuality within the LGBTQ+ umbrella, as well as links to useful resources linked with each sexuality.
I'm still working on part two and three (going to add things about the asexual spectrum, as well as terms such as achillean, sapphic and neptunic, and the whole part on romantic attraction! It'll probs be long and take a while to complete, but this is what I've got so far. Tell me if there's anything I got wrong or should change, and you can also suggest sexualities / resources I should talk about in it!
List of sexualities I'm planning on adding in upcoming parts: asexual, queer, grey-ace, demisexual, gynesexual, polysexual, questionning, skoliosexual, achillean, neptunic, sapphic (an explanation of the term and it's uses) and I'm looking to add more!
The aim here is to show as many labels as possible in order to help people that are questioning and looking for a label to find one. I'll add a part on microlabeling as well, and will try to present these in the most helpful and least harmful way possible.
That being said, I am still learning and don't know everything, so I am very open to constructive criticism and suggestions from people who'd like to help!

Well I the definition of gay and lesbian are wrong. Lesbians are women attracted to only women. Gay is men attracted to only men. Idk if you’ve already added them but you should add nblm and nblw terms. These are the terms that actually fit. Trixic and feminamoric are the nblw terms and toric and virmoric are the nblm.

I’m so angry that every day when I come onto tumblr I see someone invalidating nonbinary or pronoun variant lesbians. I just recently began exploring my sexuality through the lens of being a lesbian and already people want me out due to my complex feelings about gender. It’s not fair. It’s also not very accurate. For example, he/him lesbians are more and more being seen as some new fangled internet phenomenon when… they’re not. Sorry if you don’t “get it”, but that’s not my problem.

Those would be the terms that properly describe your sexuality in relation to your gender. Lesbian isn’t an umbrella term or “under an umbrella term”. Lesbian is just simply a term to describe women who are attracted to only women. It’s not you that isn’t valid. It’s the combination of your gender identity and sexuality that isn’t. There’s nblw terms that do actually properly describe your sexuality(trixic and feminamoric). Also regarding the tags you most certainly do matter. Not sure who actually said that to you but I can say that most of the people who disagree with non-binary lesbians don’t think you don’t matter.

Okay so this is something I haven’t really talked about but I just felt the need to talk about it. I don’t know what to call what happened.
So basically I was maybe 9-11. My memory is pretty foggy so I don’t really remember. What I do remember is what happened for the most part. There was this older boy who went to my daycare. He was around 2 years older then. I had this “crush” on him. Me I think two others(who are a year younger than me) really wanted him to play with us. Since he was one of the only kids near are age. He made this deal that if we would show him are crotch area he would play with us. I don’t remember how many times we did this but it definitely happened more than once. I think I eventually told my mom and it stopped but like I said I don’t remember a lot. I tell myself it wasn’t that bad. I don’t view him as bad. I don’t view what happened as “wrong”. That I’m overacting about it all. I also sometimes question if it even happened. Maybe I made it up some how since I don’t remember very well. I want to ask my mom and see if she remembers what happened but I’m scared that she won’t remember at all. That I’m just making a big deal of it. Like it wasn’t even that bad. It could have been way worse.
I still wish I knew what this would be considered but well I don’t. So I guess that’s my vent post.
I see so many people critiquing adults for liking media aimed at children on here, and like, you’re engaging in cringe culture. That is what you are doing. That’s ableism and cringe culture for fucks sake.
If an adult likes a media targeted at children and makes adult content for it within their own community, that is fine? They’re not shoving it in the faces of children just by making it, fucks sake.
Well I do agree there’s really nothing wrong with an adult liking children content but well not sure I would label it “ableism”. Or least not inherently. And by adult content do you mean sexual? Because that is kinda weird. Like imagine a kid searching pics of their favorite show and stumbling upon it. That would be bad.
It ties into ableism because some people have special interests and fixations that they cannot help! By mocking them you* imply that they can stop enjoying that thing or that they should not be allowed to enjoy that thing, which is why cringe culture is ableist.

As long as things are kept in the right place, the child will not stumble across them. Even then, it’s their parent’s job to monitor their experience. We cannot boss around adults who are not doing anything wrong.
Yes for some it is a special interest but I still wouldn’t label it as inherently being ableist. Regarding the second point how often is the content actually kept in a place where a child wouldn’t be able to find it. A parent monitoring the kids experience still won’t erase the chance of finding stuff like that. Honestly I think the adults are doing something at least somewhat wrong. Because a lot of things for kids feature kids. So an adult making sexual content of a child is wrong.
fictional characters are not real people. if a child actor is in a work that’s different. otherwise it doesn’t matter because nobody is being directly harmed
there is no foolproof way to stop kids from looking for things they shouldn’t but that doesn’t mean you can take away freedom from others. it is not the job of random adults minding their own business to jump through hoops to ensure no child sees their stuff. they already do that as is. the only solution are parents doing their job.

idgaf what message you’re attempting to make, but don’t tell people to hide their queerness. don’t normalize people going back in the closet or pretending to be cishet in order to survive/feel safe; queer people should able to exist and not fear being discriminated against
I do agree but we should also talk about how it is still okay. Your safety is very important. Yes we should be able to exist without fear but realistically that probably isn’t gonna happen any time soon. So if something needs to hide to stay safe then there’s nothing wrong with that.
