Perspective is still going to be the death of me, you can be sure of that.

Speaking of death…damn! What a way to start this year's Ink Demomonth, right. Prompts like this are interesting because they make me think outside the box. If it was just "Remain Calm" it would be easier to come up with an idea, but since "Remain" and "Calm" are pretty much different themes, I have to think more about what I want to draw for each of them.

So for my first prompt: the end of Sammy Lawrence, and the beginning of the Prophet. My first proper drawing of my new Sammy design and I put him in this situation, poor guy.

I was originally going to make the pool of ink under his head blood, but I changed it to ink because despite everything that happened with the books, ink poisoning and Sammy are a pair I still can't get rid of. Get inked, idiot.

I'm a little late for this year's event and that's for two reasons. First, tried to prepare a mini backlog of the first 3 prompts so I could post them sequentially over 3 days. That, didn't work very well lol. So here's the first prompt, just so it doesn't rot in my drafts.

And second, not that life hasn't already been throwing hands before, but this year it decided to throw them extra hard, which not only delayed me a bit for the event, but also made it very difficult to make some Big completed drawings this year. So if I wasn't very good at getting past the halfway point of the event in previous years, this year has a certain possibility of being worse.

I still want to participate this year! The Ink Demonth has always been a good way to motivate me to draw after all. But it wouldn't be much of a surprise (to me) if this is the year I'm least present at the event, you know.

But I'll try my best. Guess it's time to try to catch up on the next themes. Let's see how things unfold. Good luck to the rest who are in this year's event, and we'll see each other on the other side (I hope)!

Something inky this way comes! The Ink Demonth emerges once again!

The Ink Demonth is a 31-day event dedicated to the game Bendy and the Ink Machine (and other games associated with the Bendy universe). It’s based on daily themes. As long as your creation involves elements from the game along with any interpretation of the respective day’s theme – it counts!

You don’t have to create something for each day, make as many creations as you’d like. However, if you manage to do all 31 of them, you can submit a form to receive a little gift (drawing request)! In the form, you will have to provide a link to each of your posted event submissions (it doesn’t have to be Tumblr, just a site that’s publically accessible!).

You can create whatever you’d like! Draw a picture! Write a fic! Do a video edit! Take a cosplay photo! Anything you can come up with that is a creative interpretation of that day’s theme!

(Don’t try to „cheat the system”, though – don’t submit a, let’s say, straight line for each day, I will notice this kind of spam and remember: spamming is a terrible sin. You can make an entry that covers a few themes but as long as you don’t create 31 things, the gift will not be granted to you.)

The event starts on the 1st of August and ends on the 31st. Although, don’t worry if you’re too busy in August, late entries are always welcome! (…for reblogging, as for drawing gifts I’m going to give all of you an extra month, so if you’re aiming for that, the end of September is your deadline.)

Why in August? I figured that since August is the month on Joey’s calendar in his apartment and August is the month during which BatIM takes place, it should be the one!

In 2026 I finally entered my "call myself an artist, don't draw shit" arc. Second half of the year and I barely done stuff.

Anyway, here some snippets of some WIPS of ideas that I wanted to put in pratice this year but didn't went really far at all.

Damn, at least 3 of these ideas are related to Sonic, I really wasn't up for the game this year.

I'd love to come back to these ideas eventually, I'd just have to put my mind to the game. This year has been difficult for wanting to do and finish bigger and more complete ideas.

Can't wait for 2027 to be my retirement year from art /j
