Hmmm let's see...

...GROGU?!?!?!?!?! Okay, yup, yeah, I think I got this, I think we're having fun, lol... Kid is used to flying, just give him some food and a toy, and HOPEFULLY he'll eventually drop off for a nap... Plus, he's empathetic enough I think he might make an attempt at comfort if I have problems with flying... And, if nothing else, his babbles tickle me to the bone and I'd have fun making/trying to make them back at him...

Mydei and Phainon! I think it would be a pleasant flight, though I'd definitely be third-wheeling here 😂 I'd probably end up talking about history/antics with Phainon, which would be nice. Though both of them would probably be a little nervous being on a plane at first, given the whole Aquila shooting down ships thing

Saw that thingy you reblogged so random lil asks time it is! Which characters would you like to get in hsr? (and maybe genshin if you got back to it.) Also if could have any character(s) from hsr meet any character(s) from genshin, who would it be?

Oooooo! Okay fun ask, this one has me really excited actually!!!

So! Which characters would I like to get in HSR? I have two lists, lol... The first list is characters I want because I like them/just want to have them. The second list is characters I want that would improve my teams/overall combat performance.

Phainon is on both lists, lol, but is basically at the top of my Like-Want list - and, uh, have you heard who's having a rerun in Phase 2 of the next patch? You guessed it, it's Phainon!!!!! I have 91 pulls saved for him right now, with all of Planarcadia to play still. So, despite not having a guarantee anymore (I used it to get Evanescia like... Yesterday, lol) I'm very confident I can still get him, as long as I'm willing to do a little grinding. Other characters on the Like-Want list are Mydei, Castorice, Hyacine (who is also on both lists and I missed on her last rerun by about a 10 pull... *Loud facepalm and a glare at Bronya who I lost my 50/50 to*), and maybe Cyrene.

On the Improvement-Want list is Fugue (for my Firefly so Stelle can permanently go on my Evernight team - I won a random 50/50 10pull for Evernight's lightcone on a whim pull after getting her, she's the most cracker character on my account and also why my Hyacine loss was SO devastating), Anaxa, Tribbie (who is also sorta on the Want-List but like... Not as strongly), and Silver Wolf (who I hope is who I lose to next time I lose a 50/50 - just hopefully not on Phainon!).

And then, there's Rin and Gilgamesh who just got announced - I would very much like both of them, as a Fate fan as well as an HSR fan! I'm gonna get Gil from the free claim, since I got Archer way back in part one, and then I'm hoping I'll be able to get Rin as well... (And also hopefully both their lightcones, like I got both Archer and Saber's... Hoping they do what they did with Archer's lightcone with Gil's... That'd be nice... But I do have a guarantee on THAT lightcone banner though, so... *Shrugs*)

But yeah, that's... That's that, lol! There are a few characters I'd get eidolons for if I had a good chance, but I'm always scared they'll announce someone I really want, or a rerun of someone I'd like and so I'm... Not great at saving, lol... (Phai, Dan Heng - both 5* versions honestly, all four Fate characters and probably Mydei are all at the top of my eidolon list, lol... I WOULD have probably gotten a DHIL E1 on his release, but I had a misclick on Ratio's banner right beforehand, and at 0 pity accidentally used my guarantee in a surprise early and ended up with E1 Ratio instead... :/ Who was useful on my account for a while, but is... Definitely less so nowadays... Not that DHIL is much better, but Dan Heng is genuinely my favorite character, soooo... ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ It is what it is.)

As for Genshin characters I'd like but don't have... again, I have a list, but I'll keep this one shorter because I'm still not caught up past Natlan... (I'm trying to get back in, I want to know the things, it just hasn't been working for me) I'd really like Alhaitham Albedo, Skirk, Durin, Lauma and Nahida, honestly. Columbina would be nice for like... My Zibai team, and maybe my Flins? I don't know much about Nicole, lore or playstyle, but she might be nice? I know I've got more on my list, but those first 6 are the big ones, I think. (I'm still mad they had Lauma with her deer form and didn't give Zibai a horse form despite that precedent... GIVE ME MY HORSES, GENSHIN!!! LET ME RUN AROUND AS ZIBAI!HORSE!!!!!! *shakes my fist at Hoyo*) Oh, I might enjoy having Clorinde and Xilonen too... *Shrugs*

(also let me get Xiao constellations!!! And maybe Zhongli ones too, but Xiao first!!! Xiao is my BOY, my FAVORITE, and some day I want to get him C6! *I say, with every intention of collecting characters I like too...* I happened to unexpectedly get Neuvi's C1 on his last rerun, so that was cool! But yeah. Also, let me get Primordial Jade Winged Spear from the Standard banner, doggone it!!! I've been playing since 3.something, and I still don't have it!!!!!)

As for what HSR and Genshin characters I would like to meet each other... Well, one I've seen a few times but agree could be awesome is Childe meeting Aventurine... like... boy howdy, that'd be good soup, XD. Another popular but fun combo is Zhongli and/or Neuvi meeting Dan Heng... Alhaitham and Ratio might be funny (especially if Kaveh and Aventurine are both there too, XD)...

But one I haven't personally seen before but think would be fascinating would actually be Childe and Mydei. You can't tell me "kid who fell into a realm of monsters and had to fight to survive for so long it's just a part of how he is now" meeting someone else who was in similar circumstances wouldn't be FASCINATING... Also, Zhongli and Phainon would be interesting too, especially post!Amphoreus... Like... Guy who has lived too long, seen too much, lost too much, a warrior "god", and held up his world on his own for too long with too much sacrifice? C'mon... ...........doggone it now I need this fic, but these vibes is literally all I have... *big sigh* But you can't tell me those wouldn't be such FASCINATING interactions, right?!?!?!?! (Don't look too closely at the fact that they're my favorite duos in each game... I said don't look! ;P XD)

Also it’s funny how the characters you like-want list are either ones I already have or want too. We have pretty similar tastes it seems!

Oh I sure understand the need to free Stelle for another team. My Caelus is kind of overworked, being needed for both my Firefly and Castorice team. And it’ll only gets worse if I end up pulling Elation characters.

Being a fan of both hsr and fate must be nice! I’ve never watched fate, so my reaction to the whole collab thing is something along the lines of ‘I don’t know who any these people are, but this nice regardless’ xD And sadly I got back to the game too late to get Archer for free, so I’m kind of waiting to see how Gilgamesh will be played to decide who I’ll pick.

Tbh I’m kinda the same, always hesitating to pull in case there’ll be another character I really really want coming out soon after. Like, I would like to pull for Phai’s Eidolons, but with Aventurine sp maybe being released soon, it’s a tough choice. And ouch, losing a guarantee at 0 pity on a misclick is really bad luck. As for DHIL, here’s to hoping he’ll get a good Novaflare one day!

Honestly it’s a shame there aren’t more characters who can turn into the animal they’re associated with. Like, imagine how cool it would be if we could have Zhongli turning into a dragon!

And I feel you about Xiao, getting cons for older characters (or older characters, period) sure is a struggle. And yippee for you getting Neuvi’s C1! I was tempted to pull on that banner too to get more cons for him, but I held back to get Flins.

Those are all great picks! Also I feel like the Dan Heng meeting Zhongli and Neuvillette is even more relevant now than it was before Amphoreus since Dan Heng’s forms are related to water and earth.

Oh yes, Mydei and Phainon meeting Childe and Zhongli just has so much potential! Also there’s definitely something to be said here about Zhongli who gave up power so his people won’t be doomed were to succumb to erosion, and Mydei who lived through the consequences of a Titan falling into madness. And as you know, I am very partial to those two duos as well, so of course I’m all for it!

Okay let's do this!

For HSR:

PHAINON PHAINON PHAINON PHAINON. I skipped all the new Planacardia characters just to be sure I would have enough jades to get him, so I’m super glad his rerun’s coming soon. And I’d also like to get Blade Mortenax, which means next patch will definitely be the one where I spend my savings xD

Other than them, I’d like to get Anaxa, Evernight for my Castorice team, and either Fugue or Dahlia for my Firefly. Oh, and Pearl once she releases! Honestly there’s a big chance I’ll pull for the new Planacardia characters after getting Phainon since I held back for so long. Also if leaks are true and we get a new version of Aventurine then he’ll be the next character I’ll absolutely want.

And when I lose my next 50/50 (hoping that doesn’t happen soon) I’d like to get either Argenti or Yunli. On a kinda similar note, I’m hoping to finally get Bailu on the standard banner, because SOMEHOW she hasn’t come home yet.

For Genshin:

I’m lucky enough to have gotten all of the characters I absolutely wanted when I got Durin on a guarantee a few days ago! So now I’m trying to get Nicole because she pairs well with him. In an ideal situation I would like to get both her and Lohen, but I doubt I’ll be this lucky 😅 I did try to get Escoffier and Skirk on their rerun, but Jean said no, so maybe I’ll give it another shot if they come back outside of the nostalgic banner? I’d also like to get Varka on his rerun, and maybe Xilonen, though it’s mostly because she’ll be an upgrade to my Neuvillette team, so if there’s a better support for him that comes out, then I might switch to that character. Also maybe Citlali? That will probably change once the Snezhnayan characters come out though. Oh, and I’d like to FINALLY get Ororon! I swear he’s harder to get than five stars! I mean, I did get an accidental Chasca while trying to pull him when he first came out.

Now for the hsr characters meeting Genshin characters part, first I’d like to say that I fully agree with the ones you picked, those would be great! And since you mentioned Childe and Aventurine meeting, may I suggest: Childe as Foul Legacy, Aventurine as his Stone Heart form, and Phainon as Flame Reaver, maybe with Zhongli, Ratio and Mydei there, because, you know. Self-destructive characters who have a monstrous form.

I’m also a big fan of Alhaitham meeting Ratio, and I’d add Anaxa into the mix for even more scholarly chaos. And speaking of Anaxa, I think that if he ever met Nahida, the conversation they would have would be an interesting one too.

And of course dragon characters meeting each other is a big yes for me, so next up is: Durin and Dan Heng. I mean, they do have a lot in common, being the reincarnation of a past/alternate self and having to carry the weight of their wrongdoings.

Another duo I think would work well is Khaslana and Wanderer, simply because I think it would do them good to bitch about Lygus and Dottore.

Oh, another fun one: March 7th and Charlotte. I’m sure they would have a great time talking about photography!

Then… Nefer and Cipher! I won’t elaborate on that one since you’re not past Natlan and I don’t want to spoil you, but yeah, having these two interact would be great.

Now, for even MORE chaos, I suggest: Hook meeting Klee. Maybe even throw Caelus and Stelle into the mix. It definitely ends with all four of them locked up in the confinement room. There’s ought to be more but these are the first that came to mind (and that weren’t, just, you know, variations of Zhongli, Childe, Neuvi, Aventurine, Ratio, Kaveh, Alhaitham, Phainon and Mydei xD)
