I am the one behind this blog and its posts. I draw things (pretty much just ttcc, but I might make things for other interests) and I may just post them here!
Feel free to ask me about:
• My characters (Mark, Allistair, Grey etc.)
• My fanlore
I don't really know what else to put here so I guess that's it then.
In case any of you were wondering what I have been doing, I've been making references for Artfight. Got the 5 characters I wanted to do. Might make the card, maybe not.
When I got home this night, I took my jacket off and decided to just put on my robe instead of getting changed out of the clothes I wore outside. After I looked in the mirror, I had the thought that I looked like I could be a character in a classic mystery. What fun is it to dress in the manner I desire.
It appears that the council has decided not to give me much drawing motivation lately. What it has given me is motivation to work on a writing project I started last year.
It's been a while, huh? Had to figure out a few things in my life, but I am back to being able to draw and so I have produced these. Yes, they're pretty much the same. I recently got a tablet for drawing and decided to have my first actual drawing project on it to be this. The character is an OC of mine known as Sir Harwin of Carronnog. Anyways, hope to be able to post more art soon!
I know that it has been a while since I last posted, but I kind of was busy.
Anyways, here are some interps I have made. I have some elaborations below.
For Brian's interp I really wanted him to look more like a mad scientist. I had taken inspiration from the lab coats seen in Old World Blues. (Pictured Below)
(Image taken from: The Independent Fallout Wiki)
The design was very close to what I had wanted so I only made a few actual tweaks. (Only having 1 belt, adding a pocket square, making the collar less loose.) Outside of that, it was really a matter of making the colours more like Brian's in-game uniform. The shoes and belt were made a brighter brown as a bit of contrast.
As for Ben, I just don't like the closed collar suit design. So instead, I made it a trench coat. (Or something similar.) I have also made the same change for Insiders.
Well, my birthday has happened. (It already passed where I am but I was kind of busy.) So, have this drawing of Grey with a slice of the type of cake I had!
Seeing as today is the 5th of April (the day in which I started drawing my ocs), I have decided to grab the old refill pad and redraw the first drawing I had posted.
It's a bit awkward. (mostly because I misdrew the beak) The original is below the read more.
Yeah, you can see that I've become a lot better at this over the year. I very much have a long way to go from where I am now, so here's to another year!
"Most of the issues that I have with the department come from the Front-end Systems division, although there are some notable exceptions to that." - Mark Edward Tear, on the I.T. Bots.
A drawing I made due to a conversation in the Clashcord.
Credit for Auto (The crow seen in the third panel) as well as the I.T. Bots as a whole goes to GamerSam77 on the Clashcord.
Transcript:
First Panel: Mark Edward Tear stands inside an elevator. The emblem for the I.T. Bots can be seen behind him.
Second Panel: Same scene, however Mark is looking down at someone that's trying to get his attention.
Auto: Hey! Hey! Hey!
Mark: Yes, what is it?
Third Panel: Looking down to the ground, both Mark's legs and Auto are visible. Auto is holding up a charm on a string depicting a Sellbot Emblem in purple and gold.
Auto: I made you this!
Fourth Panel: Focus is back on Mark. His left hand is raised and holding the charm. His mouth has swapped out for one depicting a smile.
Mark: Why... Thank you.
In case you were wondering what I was talking about in that text post yesterday. This is the guy I was working on the design of. Meet Mark Edward Tear, the Campaign Director. He's a Sellbot Contractor hailing from a firm known as Tear Advertising, and arrived on the island along with several other specialists who work for him. I could talk more, but I think I'll save it for later.
Anyways, a couple of details about the design:
• The face design is a mask, with the rest of the head being the same metal colour as the neck (Example taken from an old drawing of him)
• The reason I show alt mouths is because his mouth doesn't articulate. It instead rotates out between a variety of preset expressions that Mark can swap between at will.
• He's Suit Type A, the drawing's a partial because I was mostly trying to work on the design of the head and upper body.
I was working on the design for one of my other cog ocs and I just realized that I seem to have a preference for adding waistcoats to my important cogs.
Well, this took quite a bit longer than I expected.
Anyways, this is what I've been working on for the last week. Its based on sort of an AU thing that I have with Grey, I'll explain more if I want to. Oh right, there's a transcript below the "Read More" as well if you can't read it.
Panel 1: Grey and Gareth Fanenenenal are standing in a kitchen. The only light is from a light bulb Grey is holding. Gareth is standing at the counter.
Gareth: Junior, look here.
Grey: Yes, what is it?
Gareth: It's this sink.
Grey: What about it, Dad?
Panel 2: Same location, but Grey is also at the counter beside Gareth. A sink is now visible in the light. Some water is sitting at the bottom of the sink.
Gareth: It works.
Grey: You're saying that like it's bad.
Gareth: It is.
Grey: Why?
Panel 3: Composition is purely focused on Gareth. The light from the light bulb is visible in the corner.
Gareth: Because it means this place wasn't made for dolls.
Panel 4: Looking over the kitchen again, except where Grey stood in Panel 1 is now lit with the shadows making it appear to be from a window. The sound of a light switch can be heard.
Gareth: We need to go.
Grey: Now?
Gareth: Now.
