been playing toontown rewritten and corporate clash these past few weeks. here are my ocs skipper jabberjinks and rowan the cold caller. they're housemates and film buddies and most importantly best friends who keep it platonic but it highkey gets a bit gay sometimes
Well, guys... it took me long enough, but I can finally say that I've made my very first original Cog OC! This is Carde Bordman, a low-ranking Bossbot manager who is stationed in Acorn Acres. 📦💕
He's very work-oriented and is unfamiliar with the concept of fun and leisure, so he comes across as kinda bland and boring. According to Carde, his idea of "fun" is something really mundane, like sorting pens or paperclips.
Despite this, Carde means well. He wants to do a good job and make sure all his tasks are completed correctly and in a timely manner, though he tends to adhere to a rigid routine and avoids taking risks.

Although he is the lowest ranking manager Bossbot, Carde takes pride in his work and makes sure that all necessary tasks are completed. He always finishes his paperwork on time and reports to higher-ups whenever necessary, despite being quite intimidated by most of them (especially Chip, whom he fears greatly).
Not exactly understanding what it means to have “fun”, Carde is rarely seen taking a break or doing something enjoyable for himself, outside of his usual work. He sees leisurely activities as a distraction from his job, and so chooses to avoid them. Deep down, however, he finds himself feeling curious about such activities.
Carde is constantly keeping himself busy and does not like to stand around, so he rarely has time to converse with others or settle down to relax. He can be a bit awkward or even boring to speak with, as he comes off as a bit aloof and quite literal. However, he still does his best to be polite and communicate with those who do want to talk to him.
Despite his hardworking nature, he prefers not to take risks or do anything “outside the box”, so to speak. He wants to do what’s best for the company and what will benefit it, but he also fears making the wrong decision and being scolded, or possibly even fired, for doing so. So, he typically sticks to a rigid routine and does what’s expected of him, rather than attempting anything new.
Carde emotes by his eyes changing shape, as well as the “this side up” arrows on his face serving as his eyebrows and being able to move according to his emotions. His box head is in a neutral closed position by default, but the flaps can open if he is feeling excited, startled, or heavily damaged and tired during a battle with Toons.

I’m trying to get some more refs drawn up for artfight so here’s a cog OC of mine who’s never hand one until now! Her title is One-Trick Pony, and her full legal name is Carol Cel :) Her design is based on a carousel horse, inspired by the fact that carousel horses can only go in one direction, forever (and I also just think they’re really pretty lol)
I came up with a theoretical cheat for her too; it’s called “One Trick” (very original I know), and the idea is that when she uses the cheat on a toon, they’re only allowed to use one gag track until it wears off.
I haven’t drawn anything Toontown related in a while, so I hope you like her :)
