Surprise, the Gerard Way in skirts fic is HERE. This one is very very different than my usual. No angst, no self-depreciation, just Frank being a total idiot around the person he has a crush on. It was so fun to write this after hang me up unfinished. I tried so many different things in this and I loved stretching myself a little as a writer.  BIG shoutout to @thatsnottheocean for the beta - I loved every single one of your comments.

Long Rambly Story Time (sorry not sorry):

This snippet is from the original Killjoys epic that I started writing in August or September of 2025. However, I was still so freshly returned to writing at the time that both the scope and length of the story paralyzed me with a complete block after drafting two chapters.

HOWEVER, after letting this fic haunt me for almost a year, I suddenly realized a few months ago that it wasn’t the scale or length of the story that was stopping me — it was that I wanted to tell an even BIGGER story than I thought, and that’s why I was struggling so much.

So now, this fic has become Part 2 instead of Part 1.

Now that my rambling is out of the way, the basic premise of this fic is that Basement Gerard gets transported into the Killjoys universe a year after Party Poison disappears and is presumed dead. It’s a soulbound enemies to lovers story about Gerard grappling with living up to who he was in this universe while also trying not strangle Ghoul for being such a grouchy asshole in the process lmaooo

Rereading what I have written already is funny because we barely had any lore about the LLTBP tour shenanigans then. Yet it fits shockingly well with all we have been shown since last September.
