Ashton pondered aloud âSo whatâs better, a table or a dresser?â
;D
!!!!!!! /)////(\
âYou look a little pink in the face cutieâ Ashton smiled
Would like a wink with that coffee?
What the absolute shit? Tattletale looked at the barista in front of her. Was he trying to flirt with her? OrâŚwas he trying to insult her? If so, two can play at that game! She stared at him so sheâd find a weak spot, something to insult him about. However, she couldnât as she noticed his ruby colored eyes and found herself getting distracted by them.
âJusââŚget me my damn coffee, mate.â She demanded, trying to avoid making eye contact a second time so she wouldnât blush even harder.
Ashton liked the way she spoke and chuckled âWhatever ya like honey~â He written something onto a post it note pad. âSo, what kind of coffee you fancy? Surly itâd be as hot as your face looks right now âĄâ
Fran skipped into the cafe, humming a tune. The blonde walked over to the order counter with a spring in her step, looking up at the menu with her bright blue eyes. "Hmmm..."
Ashton was cleaning some glassware, he was wiping some spots of every mug to make sure customers enjoyed the service, no one likes spots on the mug their drinking from. He turned to place a mug down and grab another one, he stood in place looking at them. He was already done, but you canât be too sure all the time right? He grabbed the mug he first shined, starting over again when really, itâs not needed.
Hearing the door open and close, he turned his head, it was a customer! He placed the cup down and hung the cloth on a hook on a cupboard. He turned and to his surprise, it was Frannie!
He propped against the counter, leaning on it using his upper hips. Staring at her, he smiled. âHello, and how may I help you?â

Fran laughed. âNo, Iâm fine. Thank you.â She hummed and swayed her hips left and right in thought as she stared at the ceiling. âSay, Ashey, are you free after work tonight?â She smiled and waited for a response from him anxiously.
Ashton took an old filter out of the coffee machine and placed a new one in, wiping the rim of the top of the filter holder, he turned back to Frannie. âTonight? Iâm not busy~â he smiled and closed the lid to the coffee maker âWhy you ask darlinâ?â

Ashton winked âMaybe I didnât go through to you all.â he flipped his hair and used what he calls his âspecial voiceâ âLadies~â
Some people are too pureâŚâŚ
âPure equals boringâŚItâs a well known fact.â
Ashton grinned. âWell if you knew the context of my statement, youâd agree hot stuffâ
Mirana skipped over to the coffee shop with her fluffy blonde hair bouncing off her shoulders. Her blue eyes were glittering with excitement as she entered the building. That was when she noticed the dark haired handsome person at the counter.
Ashton was looking over some glasses and mugs. The taller ones needed some spiffing up since Cedella didnât finish the glassware when closing up the previous night, some of them appeared foggy. Heâs blaming the dishwasher, Cedella was so busy she used the dishwasher to clean the dishes, Ashton often washes them by hand.
He was so caught up in the dishes he heard the bell on the door ring, it was light. He looked towards the entrance, there was a beaming blonde girl with a glow about her. He stopped staring for about 30 seconds and walked over to the counter, he hasnât seen her around before. He, as always, needs a good first impression, he doesnât want to disappoint. He whipped his head to the side a bit to make sure his hair is directed properly, and so hair isnât in his face. He gave a wink.
âGood morning madame, anything you fancy here?â
Miranaâs blue eyes lit up with excitement and a light blush appeared on her face.
âGood morning to you, too!â She chirped. Twisting her pale blonde hair around her fingers, she questioned, âIâm a bit new to the area, what would you recommendâŚ.â
Glancing at his name tag, then staring into his ruby red eyes.
âAshton?â She finished her sentence, a warm smile glittered on her face.
Ashton looked down, leaned on the counter and pointed at a stack of menus put neatly on a small stand. âYou can see what youâd like thereâ he pointed upwards behind him âor there~â Looking into her eyes he gently laughed âAs for recommendations, honestly I think any of the beverages are pretty amazing. I make them anyways.â
He reached over for a menu âAnything from hereâ he pointed at a small area âto here is what iâd recommendâ. He looked back at her âFor food items, thatâs up to youâ he smiled

âhiii Ashey Washey!â Frannie chirped happily. â I just came in for something sweet~ Oh, and a black coffee for my sis! She told me not to come back without one!â
She looked at the menu, placing her hand on her cheek in thought. âhmmm, do you have anything with strawberries?~â
His grin formed into a smile, he was adoring how cute she was. Staring at her eyes, which are currently overlooking the menu, her eyes shined a nice bright blue colour. He was lost in gaze, not speaking
âCan I get something sweet Ashey? What do you recommend?â
She looked up from the menu and at him, smiling
Blinking and regaining thought he began to blush, she seen him gazing at her.
âUh well-â He looked at the pastry case and pointedâ We have a lot of different things so itâd be hard to choose honestly. Do you like Macaroons? Cookies? Cream Puffs?â He began examining the case, Cedella often handles the case so he barely gets a look at it.
Fran giggled sweetly. âDo you have anything as sweet as you?â she looked at the display case and hummed. âIâll take a couple pieces of shortcake, my sister says she hates sweets but itâs polite to offer.â Fran looked in her purse. âHow much Ashey?â
Hearing her reply, he began to hum. Opening the case, Ashton grabbed some containers from the shelving under the display part of the case. He picked up a piece with a lavender coloured spatula and gently placed it into the container.
As he was finishing up putting the pieces into a container, he went to the coffee containers and opened it, he scooped some beans and began making his way to the grinder. Looking back, he asked.
âYouâre getting quite a bit of things for your sister, would you like anything for yourself? We have cheesecake if you fancy that as well!â He glanced back over at the coffee grinder and put the beans into a compartment on a coffee maker. He couldâve given her the already made coffee but he likes to keep his customers happy, especially the cute ones. Heâd rather make fresh coffee at the moment.
Shui's heels clicked as she walked towards Ashton, trying to ignore the other people around her. She didn't like receiving attention from people she barely knew, so she assumed that keeping a straight, unamused face and avoiding eye contact would solve that issue. As she reached the counter, Shui sighed and looked down at Ashton. "Hi. May I get a medium cup of coffee? Black, please." ~((thesquidsofflounderheights))
Ashton gave a cup to a person through the âwalk-thruâ window, itâs summer time and Cedella has âbright ideasâ about how to make more customers and keep them, a lot of people are biking through the âwalk-thruâ window however, she suggested a âbike-thruâ window as well, he could only be in so many places at a time...
Looking back at the counter, he quickly bolted towards it as if his entire job depended on it, they need more hands around the place.Â
âSorry for the wait, medium black? Is there anything else youâd like today?âHe looked busy, his eyes kept shifting between her and the order slip board, Cedellaâs a fast writer so heâs trying to keep as much attention as he could there/ Why doesnât she just hire someone new? Theyâre the only two there at the moment, or at all. He tried to stay focused on the customer, she was important after all, customers are always the highest priority.
