I'm looking for book reccomendations for something like The Locked Tomb series, but male homoerotic instead of sapphic. I really love this series, and i eagerly await book 4. But, I'm making myself not re-read the books for like the 5th time since last year and trying to branch out to other books and series, and I want to hear some suggestions from other fans of The Locked Tomb.

I was wondering if there's any science-fantasy books with like magic powers, religious trauma, a variety of settings (like how NtN is kinda cyberpunk compared to the previous two books being like sad catholics in decrepit space), threats from aliens or monsters, conspiracies, cool worldbuilding, or/and crazy plot twists like all that in TLT... but instead of being sapphic and about girls, it's gay the other way and about boys? Like, instead of toxic trauma yuri it's toxic trauma yaoi. Boy Gay instead of Girl Gay. (btw happy pride month 🏳️‍🌈)

Obvs I know that there's nothing quite like The Locked Tomb in terms of genre or tone, but i thought i would check to hear if anyone has some suggestions for books that might scratch the same itch for someone who's generally more into male homoerotic spec fic. thanks in advanced!
