Monsignor’s passing brought a rather gloomy start to the year. However the foundation that he built for CIW was strong, and still continues to thrive under Cha Thu’s watch.
Anh Tam’s Wedding. First time ever in California! Was really happy for this dude, and still stunned by what he accomplished. We don’t talk much but he’s definitely and mentor/role model to me of some sort, kept me motivated to pursue my major when I was going to drop. Dude caught us drinking at his wedding and was completely cool with it lmao. One of the funnest weddings I’ve been too. The beach was a really good end to that night, always feel so at peace there.

Con 2 retreat, came in without really knowing the students, but all in all it was still a very successful retreat! Made some valuable connections with the students before the retreat ended. Still bump into some of them occasionally.
Formals, my reign as historian and first year of being an officer for FSA has ended. Was a pretty good year!

Started off with flying to California with my bros, reunited with Cathy, and just explored for about a week. What a crazy week that was.
EDC. What made us spontaneously decide to drop so much money in so little time? Insanity maybe. But I don’t regret it one bit. People won’t stop with the “oh it changed your life blah blah blah” ehhh whatever. I had a blast and i was actually happy for once, so why you hatin’?
Right when we got back to Cali we started working, with the worst possible comedown.Some how exceeded expectations and didn’t get lectured as much as I would expect. Got a few life lessons from bossman which was cool, was scared shitless of him the week before.
Besides working we did some pretty cool things, Waterpark, Exploring LA, Escape room, and other things. Something about the beaches over there really get to me.
Oh and my family came to visit, that was a pretty big deal. My mom hasn’t taken a vacation or day of for years
Richard through a badass party, not sure how he got away with throwing one w/ 40+ people upstairs while his parents were downstairs w/o letting them know that there were drinks. His dad caught me carrying a case of beer lmao

Surprised my sister with some Ed Sheeran tickets back in April, finally went to his concert
Shot a gig for an event, work was BS but made some valuable connections through networking

About to head to Lights all Night in Dallas w/ the group I met back during something wicked weekend. Not complete strangers since I go to school with some of them, and one is my co for my FSA fam! Its a nice change since I don’t know them that well so its almost a fresh start
Here’s to a pretty good year. There was quite a few low moments, but where’s the highs without the lows? Hoping for a better year in 2016 in all aspects.
