Have you thought about strapping a GoPro to the wrist of the hand you're cracking with? We attached one to the tip of a broadsword in a stage combat class, and ran through a piece of fight choreography; the visuals were astounding.

Hey that’s a great idea! I might give that a shot :) It might be a bit tough to do because certain cracks usually run parallel to the handle, meaning they come close to my wrist, but I can probably work around it!

Here’s a routine I put together last week

This is called the changing 8s, its a slow figure eight in one hand and a fast figure eight in between it in the other hand, and then you switch!
