Yesterday ‘The Last Child Camp’ located on the west side of 1806 was raided by The Bismarck Police, National Guard and DAPL Mercenaries. They came with Armored Vehicles, Unmarked Vans, Snow Mobiles, Sound Cannons, and full riot gear. The camp was birthed in the middle of the night, seven teepees and the understanding that they are making a stand for treaty rights and treaty land to be respected. The Camps were asked to move to higher ground and this is where Chase Iron Eyes and independant warriors from the 7 tribes that signed the treaty chose to start a new Camp for the people to move to. There were about 60 people rounded up and arrested from Last Child Camp. The DAPL forces pushed us back on the highway to the North entrance of Oceti which we held in prayer. WE ARE UNARMED PEACEFUL AND IN PRAYER. The spirit, the strength of the prayer, and the love emanating from Water Protectors was awe inspiring. We must protect the families in Camp Oceti, Treaty Rights, our Native Relatives, and Our Water. Some of these officers hearts weren’t in it, the shift from hard and impenetrable to open and listening was palpable.
