Our bodies could be skin on skin and I’d still pull you closer.

masturbation and hating myself are my only hobbies
me: *doesnt sleep, is tired*
me: *sleeps a bit, is tired*
me: *sleeps average amount, is tired*
me: *sleeps a lot, is tired*
me: *is tired*
do dreams matter, or should people just face the reality?
Dreams matter. Sometimes only dreams keep us alive.
As someone who has dealt with depression for years, I can confirm this is incredibly good advice.
just so you know, daniel harmon is an autistic writer, producer, and voice actor. it’s incredibly important that we don’t erase autistic creators; all of this is also important, but erasure is a huge problem and it’s so so vital for autistic kids to see (mentally ill and multifaceted) autistic adult creators and know that’s what they can grow up to be.
An emotion: *pokes its head through the mountain of suppression I've buried it under*
Me, beating it with a stick: Back! Back!

The War Between Sleep And Mind
Sleep is a very abstract concept in my mind. People say close your eyes and you will fall asleep. When my eye lids shut my thoughts go to war. The clashing of memories, the waves of emotion, the unbearable realization of life, is this what people tell me should make me fall asleep? Do people not account for the minds of the tortured, hurt, paranoid, hopeless people? As I lay in bed all I can think of is my daughter. The tiny munchkin still in her mother belly. My mind doesn't let stop worrying if she's okay. It's as if it's making me practice for when she is born and I proceed to beg for sleep. Maybe then will it lower its swords and let me fall asleep.
