S’mores Pumpkin Pie
Needs: - I large can pumpkin puree - 2 eggs (brown preferably) - 1 tablespoon golden sugar - 30 grams s’mores chai o This needs to be ground down with a mortar and pestle until it resembles coffee grounds - 1 cup of mini marshmallows o these need to be cut further into quarters o divide into ½ cup portions - 1 cup grated chocolate o Baker’s chocolate works great. However if you have a preference to another kind feel free. o Separate this into 2 ½ cup amounts - 1 frozen or premade pie shell
How to: - Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and place your rack in the middle of the oven - Blend your pumpkin puree, golden sugar and eggs together - Next add in your s’mores chai and stir well - Taste to see if you like the consistency, this is where you can add more golden sugar - Place into your fridge for ½ hour to stiffen slightly - When its stiffened it’s time to fold in your ½ cup marshmallows - Sprinkle the ½ cup of your grated chocolate throughout the pie shell - Scoop into your pie shell and smooth out to fill the whole area - Place into the centre of the oven to bake. - It should take roughly 20-30 minutes before you begin to smell the amazing pie. o To test it, stick in a tooth pick and it should come out clean o Make sure to test all around the pie - When the toothpick comes out clean you get to sprinkle the rest of the chocolate over the top of the pie along with placing the remaining ½ cup of marshmallows. - Bake another 5 minutes to create a golden crust and remove to cool. - ENJOY!!!
