“Well...No. It is natural for a person to know their origins.”Lucifer paused, watching the way the child moved for a moment.
“You are blind...?” He lowered himself to the child, then. “Well... I am tall, with short or medium hair...It is a teeter between white and blonde. I have piercing green eyes...As I am fair complected.”

“Oh! Aka is my friend! She helps me when I’m in trouble!” She held up a leather bound book that had appeared in her arms before hunkering down.
“I’m been looking for mom and dad for so long…I just want to meet them…just once.”
“To talk to them, to get to know them…”
Lucifer’s gaze focused in on the book for some moments--detecting a strange spacial magic about it. Whatever it was--it was of Samael’s kin--so he thought. Therefore it made perfect sense.
“I suppose that is a natural request--even if I do not have parents in the same sense that you do.”

“My…parentage?” She paused at this tilting her head to think.
Then a somber look graced her features. “I don’t know. Aka said that my parents were either killed or sealed away, but she managed to get my mother’s name. I believe it was Ayla Faye Aue. Though I don’t know my father, all script was erased.”
“Aka? Who is this?” Ayla...He figured as much. His brother wasn’t erased... Though Lucifer dearly wished he was. That would mean this child was a product of another universe’s Satan and his brother.
That would mean this child would be an important tool, in due time.
“What brought you here?”

“Are you alright Mister? You went quiet?” Seems she couldn’t see the look.
“For me to be in absolute pain--yes. I am fine.” The King murmured, tail giving quite a slow, calculated flick.

Imagine teenager Ayla singing to Lucifer when he was resting his host.
/I raise you with him keeping his silence when he’s resting because he’s a tad confused as to what she’s doing--but Ayla doesn’t sound bad so he’s not particularly annoyed.
It’s lost on him that she’s trying to help him relax, but hey she sounds nice so she’ll not necessarily be told to stop.
Just????So confused???? Why is Satan singing to me??? whatever she seems content and she’s not terrorizing Gedoin’s work. So Imma just lay here with my eyes closed and feel medicine pump into my host. This is irritating. I shouldn’t have to do this.
"I'm only a little bit too short!" She retorted idly.
“It appears to me you are quite short. Therefore you are. Too short.”
"I'm trying to help you work!" Came the response as she smiled at him. "And I wanted to see what it's like sitting in your chair!" Her way of saying 'I was trying to mimic you bit this isn't working that well.'
“You are...Perhaps a little bit short for that, wouldn’t you agree?”
Small Ayla is trying to pretend to be him by sitting at his desk....even though at her size she has to stretch even while sitting to even look over the top of the desk.

The Demon King had finally felt well enough to attempt working, and low and behold? There’s a small, purple haired Satan in his seat.
“What...Are you doing?” Came the calm tone. He was neither impressed or irritated, simply curious. Seemed he did not understand what Ayla was doing.

“I don’t….wanna leave….but….I don’t wanna….kill anymore….” The half asleep mumbled response came as she completely relaxed now. The small child was internally surprised that she could rest so easily around him. She’d gotten so used to the stressed sleeping when she knew people were around during her other world that this was…a pleasant change.
The female would rest well, partially stirring here and there, before slipping back asleep once more. Though if he grew impatient he could easily wake her, though she seemed content, a contradiction to what the distrustful composure she had given him farther back, when they first met.
He would have to correct this disposition later. As Lucifer did not even order his own men to kill others--hence Gedoin’s future demise at a later date. And the experiments? They were necessary material. Some sacrifices had to be made.
No, the only movement he made was to take his mask from her hands, lest she drop it on accident. Pathetic. He shouldn’t even need to use such a mask when the rot became unbearable for him. He shouldn’t need to hide himself in such a way to be appeasing and powerful to a human’s eye.
He shouldn’t even be feeling the amount of pain he had been--the entire existence in this plane--felt. It wasn’t fair. There was such a thing as too much power. He would be the first, and the last, to go through this unbearable cycle of suffering. It would end, and begin anew.

Ayla finally let the mask drop so that she could cuddle against him, eyes closing, falling silent as she yawned once more. “You’re warm…” She mumbled idly. Though she knew that he was probably just doing this to use her. “…When I get older, are you going to make me fight…?”
She pursed her lips, having flashes of blood and death from her life before inside her head. She swore never to kill or hurt again, as much as possible. Even if that ideal she placed on herself couldn’t possibly hold true she never wanted to see those sights again.
Though by now she was starting to doze off, the inkling of nightmares just waiting to plague her small rest.
“I do not make anyone do anything--I command those who are willing to fight for my ideals. I shall be blunt enough to say that you’re not going to exactly leave her. You understand the breech in security that would cause.” Though he broke his speech to ponder upon the obvious. It was ideal, yes, but Lucifer was never a forceful sort in this regard of potential soldiers. Experiments? That was a different story all together.
“Of course I am warm. Light is heat--the two are seldom apart.” However, the little form seemed to be going to sleep, so he halted in explanation. Well, he couldn’t move now. The Child-like Satan seemed to be nesting on him. He supposed it was fine. It was hard to notice the small form’s pressure, when considering the constant feeling of pain in his body. But, he digressed.
“Rest easy, for I am here.”

“You sure…?” She looked at him, still keeping the larger than her head mask against her face. It was true she was wary of him but she was comfortable here. Especially at his side. It was strange. “…No one has come to unhook you though…” She was worried, not for the same reasons as the Illuminati but worried still.
Ayla did carefully relax against his side though, as he had said he would stay. “Thank you…”
“That’s because they simply wish to ensure that I am better. This body cannot resist me for long.” It would also refuse to last, should he not care for it properly. And, while he detested being bedridden, he would detest being away from his organization more.
However, he was surprised by this notion, eyeing the child before simply ignoring the gesture. He’d witnessed, during the rare period of being out, that children tend to be clingy. While Ayla’s mindset was that of an older entity--still some things would hold true.
“Focus on resting.It would be rather rude of me to disturb you with moving.” Came an idle, calm response.
