Rejigging an old character design with new knowledge, and terrible anatomy apparently. She’s a human who has a dragon form, and can comfortably stay in between for months on end. Sometimes you just don’t want to be in your own flesh, yah know? Especially not when you can transform into something dragony. You know this character if you’ve been following me for a while. Still…

More Protector studies, she has lights now for flight, a scarf to help block out the cold air, and police batons that can eject parts and still come back. They're useful, I did have a longer description but tumblr ate it and....

Clash Colour Tests

I’ve designed armour for Clash, but am unsure of the colours I want to use...

Clash has finally kicked my ass about not liking her character. She's now gonna kick yours

'Patch' has always been a favourite of mine. I love her character, she's very loyal, determined, but also going through a lot of internal conflict with herself and her beliefs.

Her basic Genes dictate that she is a native american descendant, however one parent is not related at all to native Americans, and they pass on the religion. However I’m unsure what beliefs system to put her in, I’m leaning towards Muslim, as I can very easily acquire information on her beliefs system, and I have a perfect model of what her conflict is and how she would react.

She would wear a hijab out in the field, but among ‘family’ (her team) she would usually dress down to something like this or more colourful items. 

Any suggestions would be awesome!!

I’m looking into a Cory Loftis, etc. idea of colouring for these characters during 90% of the art. The comic would probably be similar but grey scale.

Daily lives: 02 Cooking. I should've planned what they were cooking prior to drawing it XD Comic panel practise. Next time it will include backgrounds I swear XD Currently exploring different characters religious experiences, as some would struggle with their religion seeming their current situation.

Drawcember challenge: - Clash’s Bedroom. I’ve designed several others, but this one was always going to be tricky. There’s lots of storage, and it favours windows over walls.

This links to an en-suite (in floor map), and also the character’s private lab/investigation room.

The character is 90% rooted in efficiency and regiment, so her decorations are minimal if not non-existent, this is also why it will not feel as ‘lived in’ as the other rooms.

She loves the night sky however, and often meditates in front of the windows to keep her mental state in check.

I’m trying to do a thing where my OCs will be put in different situations, some casual, some silly, some in their armour, but most the day to day thing. This is to try to ease me in to writing these characters, sometimes it’s just hard to write them being normal. Thus writing good banter for them is terrible!

Anyway! A sketch of them in a ‘tea time’ situation.

All of them like tea, just different flavours, so the cupboard has several. Tars likes the heat from the mug, Far right likes this too.

Tis always fun to look at something different.
