mohammed's wife farah has been shot.
two days ago there was a bombing near al shifa hospital which resulted in @moxayesh 's wife farah getting hurt as well. as of now the doctors have not removed the bullet from her chest.
she is five months pregnant. i don't think i need to emphasize how terrifying this must be for her and for mohammed. they're newly weds who are expecting their first child; they should be celebrating, preparing for this wonderful new addition to their little family, and instead this is what has happened.
mohammed has done so much work as part of @gaza-evacuation-funds so that other families like his can raise the funds needed for their survival. he has not asked for anything in return but now he needs that help and support as well. just transportation to the hospital costs him and farah $70; public transport is not an option due to how much walking she would have to do while pregnant and injured.
mohammed has always been there for others who have needed him. let's not leave him alone in his time of need. please donate whatever you can spare so that we can do our part in easing his troubles. thank you.

Thank you, my dear friend, I hope other friends take care of me this particular period 🙏🏻
So I've made a graphic novel and I'm trying to publish on webtoon. Still learning how all this works but I'd like to get more eyes on it if possible.
It touches on all kinds of themes surrounding the Gullah Geechee culture and folklore, anti-colonization, native land, southern mythology, and a personal journey of learning self authenticity. A young conjurer and clairvoyant must solve a mystery of a vengeful spirit and his wrongful death 400 years ago so they can restore order to their natural world. If you're interested in Black history, American history, supernatural, and fantasy themes, you may enjoy it.
It releases bi weekly but I'm hoping to do it weekly once I graduate with my bachelor's.
And while you're here, consider donating to families in Palestine to help them survive this so-called ceasefire. Times are hard so if you don't have the means, share the vetted link. They still need us.

Gaza is not just a passing news item, nor a picture shared and then forgotten. Gaza is a constant pain, the voices of children stifled beneath the rubble, mothers waiting without hope, and fathers standing helpless before hunger and fear. What is happening here is not just numbers; it is homes erased from existence, dreams buried under the debris, and childhood stolen every day.
History will remember you today, Minnesota. Well done.
IN NEGATIVE TWENTY DEGREES!!!!!
Please spread this around. Don't let ANYONE lie and say my community is anything but ASTONISHINGLY UNITED in rejection of ICE's behavior. This crosses generations, race lines, party lines, class lines. THAT is how bad ICE is. THAT is how bad we want them gone.
THAT is how loudly we are DEMANDING they leave!
Do you understand what a crowd like this means in a small city like Minneapolis??? In weather that hurts to breathe???
Can you imagine what that takes?
The American Dream (Enhanced Edition).
Watched Heated Rivalry and honestly struggled to see most of the episodes through my tears but I'm happy. Happy to have cried so much it gave me a headache and acute dehydration.
I don’t even know how to express both the relief and shame in seeing a ceasefire occur now, after all this death and suffering. It didn’t have to be this way. The genocide in Gaza has been practically live streamed for two years and still the world turned its back on the people there. This ceasefire is only the beginning of what will surely be a long fight for a free Palestine and the return of its people. We all need to have hope and, most importantly, do more.
We all know how much Israel disrespects ceasefire agreements. They continue to terrorize Lebanon and they’ll continue to terrorize Palestine. Now more than ever eyes need to be on Gaza. The people there still need help and support. As humans we must create a world where we help each other.
Adding onto this: People in Gaza and from Gaza still need help with their fundraisers. My friend Zeina is trying to leave Gaza within the next few days of this month once the Rafah crossing opens. She is still a child and has a beautiful family. Please consider donating here if you’ve ever considered donating anywhere.
Don't tell yourself I don't have money. If you only have fifty euros, donate 5 euros. It would be enough. This won't affect you much, while on the other hand, it will save many lives from suffering. Come on, add your mark and donate, my dear. I love you very much. I'm relieved the killing stopped too lol 🤗🤗
While the ceasefire agreement is a relief, Alanqar family still needs your help. Even the smallest amount makes a difference!
My friend Amal (@amal-ashour-now2) messaged me this picture and story:
Today, bullets pierced our tent… the children were playing inside when it happened.
We are a displaced family, living in a fragile tent with barely enough to survive. This morning, gunfire struck our shelter.
By a miracle, no one was physically harmed, but the emotional trauma is unbearable.
My children picked up the bullets from the ground... and asked me, “Mom, are we going to die too?”
I took these photos just minutes later, not to shock you, but to show you the heartbreaking reality we’re living.
Amal is a pregnant mother, who’s currently displaced in Gaza. Previously, she used to run a campaign to support her family’s basic needs until GFM shut it down. For that, her and her sister launched a Chuffed campaign to ensure that donations reach both families safely and reliably. The funds from this campaign aim to:
- Help the families evacuate from Gaza
- Find a safe place to live
- Provide food and medical care for the kids
- Help them heal from this terrifying experience
Please support Amal’s family by donating and sharing. Help this fundraiser gain traction as it barely raised ~$100 so far.
Hello friends, I'm Sahar! Lia & I are friends of the Ashours & Shehabs, and we'll be helping them run this campaign. Both families have had

Hello, my name is Fahed, and I'm from Gaza. Life here is harder than you can imagine, but today I share my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has given us tremendous strength. This is my daughter, Sahar, speaking in the video. She once hoped to become a doctor.
When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need for your support, we can get out of this great danger. .
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now:
There is no safe place. Danger surrounds us from all directions. The bombing is violent every moment, every day. Dozens of women and children are dying. Zero health care, pollution everywhere. Outbreaks of disease and famine that ravage our bodies.
Hi, I'm Lia & I'm organizing this fundraiser for my friends the Shehabs. They're… L J needs your support for Help Sahar & Her Family Survive
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
$5 may seem small, but to us it makes a difference. And a reminder that kindness still exists. ❤️
Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude,
Aid is not reaching Gaza. The forced starvation is still ongoing, with no signs of stopping. The airdrops are nothing but propaganda, and they are killing Palestinians. They are being crushed in stampedes, shot at distribution centres and dying from Refeeding Syndrome.
We have reached level 5 of starvation in Gaza, which means malnutrition has become so accute that re-introducing food into a person’s system can now kill them.
There is still hope, though. Bisan Owda, the Palestinian journalist, is calling for a global strike tomorrow on July 30th.
There are still people alive and fighting in Gaza, and now is the time to share as many fundraisers as possible to help them afford what little food is being trickled into the markets. My friend Othman, for example, the guy in the above screenshot, is still only at 11% of his goal and his last donation was two days ago. He desperately needs to feed his family. They have barely eaten in weeks, and he has tried multiple times to reach the aid distribution centres, but to no avail.
Please share and donate if you can. Any amount is appreciated, and please do not stop talking about Palestine. Not now, not ever.
