The worst parts of the tadc fandom and their incessant need to destroy, vilify, even fucking dox the creators of their favorite show is something that will haunt me for years as an artist. It's insane to me how every little action gets torn to shreds, even the fucking fortnite colab.

When I saw Goose's "the show got way bigger than me" post it made me so bitter for the next week because I hated seeing someone lose the passion for their, well, passion project.

If that happened to me I think I'd actually follow through on making the show worse and maybe even flaunt it a bit. The TADC fandom is a study in why we can't have nice things as indie fans.

Shockingly? The OG, canon posting channel actually has comprehensible lore and a consistent storyline, at least back when I first did a binge of it to figure out what the big freaking deal was. I'm 100% sure it is suffering from some massive powercreep problems right now, but yeah, it has actual episodes.

I do, yeah. It started with the camera people versus the toiletheads, then the toilet heads started being bigger and bigger. In order to combat that, they introduced giant cameramen. The skibidi toiletheads then became even bigger, adding propellers in order to fly, metal coverings bolted to the tops of the toilets so it was harder to flush and defeat them, and adding variants like mini suicide bombers to win the fight. Then came a Godzilla size cameraman, but his head was one of those old-timey filming setups with the VHS rolls of film and whatnot, different from the security camera heads in the first image. The skibidis matched the kaiju size. Then the cameramen made a kaiju mecha out of the filmhead guy, robo-godzilla style. I think the series ended somewhere around there, or maybe I stopped binging at that point, but that was YEARS ago. I'm sure it's gotten much worse since.

Then the Speakermen joined the Alliance along with their Titan, their Titan got infected (read: mind-controlled), forced to kill his own, there's this whole infection arc, TV Men join the Alliance with their own Titan, Skibs keep upgrading, Skibs' leader has decoys, they save Titan Speakerman, there's some betrayal, the Alliance infiltrates the Skibs' main base, some major characters die, a side-plot begins, more upgrades for both sides continuously, then it turns out there's Astro Toilets, they kill everyone they see, the series pulls up the "enemy of my enemy is my friend" trope, Titan Cameraman goes MIA, Titan TV Man gets corrupted (read: mind-controlled), the Speaker armada makes a grand return.

Aaaaaand we've been stuck there for (checks her sideblog) 277 days due to corporate/creator problems.
