As I've taken a few days to reflect on what happened last Sunday, it made me realize how much I appreciate this practice. One year ago, I began my journey as a bodhisattva of the Earth, and now, my vow is still the same. The same determination I told myself from minute one: "Either go at it 100%, or not at all." December 18, 2016, I was onstage with my sisters as we were emcees. December 17, 2017, I performed as part of Ikeda Youth Ensemble for the first time, as the three Kingman's once again...were onstage. I couldn't sleep. The drive to work today was one of the hardest things I did today. This has been one of the toughest weeks of my life, and it's only Wednesday. For more than half of my life, you have been there: waiting for me, wagging your tail at me, barking at me, growling at me, and cuddling with me. The suddenness of it all was what hurt the most, and witnessing your last moments was something I'll always remember. At 12:24AM, this morning, October 4th, you were no longer suffering.
