This is an RP sideblog for @blackbirds-fallen-angel. I’m primarily a fanfic writer, but I’ve decided to try my hand at RPs to get more inspiration for future works and to help cure a crippling case of Writer’s Block. I’ll RP with any fandom I’m familiar with, and with some OC’s as well. I mostly RP with my own OC’s, or some select canon characters I feel comfortable writing with.

Rules

Be Respectful to the Blackbird and his Muses.

In addition to being distractible, I live a full life outside of Tumblr. As such, I may be slow to respond to active threads. If I don’t respond within 7 days, @ me in the thread we were doing or message the thread to me so I can find it again.

If I don’t like the way a thread is going, I may drop it without warning. This may be cruel, but unfortunately that’s how things have to be sometimes.

Don’t spam my messages. I have a very annoying notification tone on my phone and prolonged exposure to it will drive me insane. I would also like to plot out RP’s in messages, but am open to message-based RP’s.

Don’t godmod. It’s annoying and isn’t fun for anyone.

Please try to write at least a paragraph (Between three and five sentences) per response in threads. More detail is better than less, as it gives me a better image of what’s going on and how to respond. Seeing as I have dificulty with this as well, it’s as much a rule for myself as it is for you.

A three-strikes-rule will apply regarding these rules. If any rule is broken, a warning may be given and it will count as a strike against you. Three strikes, you’re out. It may be cruel, but you have been warned.

Paradise Found

(A closed RP with @forestofstarlight)

Kuro groaned as the first streaks of light from the rising sun broke through the window and dropped across his face, making him wince as he rolled over... Or tried to.

His armnwas pinned to the bed... Pinned by something warm, something smooth to the touch... And something that loved him dearly.

He smiled, rolling towards the warmth as the smell of freshly-baked baguettes wafted through the window. He wrapped his arm around the other body, pulling her close and gently kissing her shoulder and cheek.

"Sun's up, Umbra... I'm not ready to get up, though..." He smiled, his eyes staying shut as he nuzzled into his bride.

"That depends entirely on whether or not you want to spend a little longer indulging in the wonderful weather and each other's lips... Or if you'd like to scurry away and along Boulevard Saint-Germain and get an omelette at Les Deux Magots..."

"Hmm... both sound rather tempting..." Umbra muses, tapping her chin in thought as she considers her two options. Ultimately, she lets out a soft sigh as she made her decision. "While I would love to spend more time out here... a nice lunch at a cozy cafe does sound rather nice." She says, drawing small circles on his shirt as she spoke.

Kuro smiled and nodded, keeping his eyes on his bride as he blindly began packing away their picnic supplies, his eyes never leaving hers as his other hand slowly slid along her back and to her waist.

"Sorry love, and I'll never say this again... But I need you to get off me."

He chuckled lightly, winking at her and stealing a gentle kiss.

"I'd carry you if we weren't going to get stared at by half of Paris..."

Umbra chuckles softly and playfully rolls her eyes, returning his kiss before climbing off of Kuro's chest. She smooths out any wrinkles in her dress when she lands on her feet, bending over to pick up their picnic basket. She turns to her husband and gives him a loving smile, holding out her free hand to help him to his feet.

“Lead the way, love.”

Kuro smiled and gently took his wife's hand, letting her pull him to his feet before he snatched an arm around her waist, pulling her closer to him and stealing a gentle kiss from her lips.

"I do hope you... Remember my threat..." He smirked, caressing her cheek as he held her close.

"I am going to steal your lips for a few minutes before we continue on our little date day... I'll need a quieter place, though... So hard to feed an addiction to my wife's lips with prying eyes around..."

Umbra rolls her eyes as Kuro playfully reminds her of his earlier promise, soon looking around for a place where they could possibly have some privacy. She soon notices the stone wall that was in front of the fountain they were seated next to. "Perhaps behind there? That seems like a place that would have at least a bit of privacy." She says, motioning over to the wall with her head.

Kuro smiled as he followed her gaze, smirking as he tugged his bride in the opposite direction. He grinned more and more, leading Umbra through the park towards a smaller fountain with a marble sculpture depicting a cyclops looking over two fleeing humans. There was plenty of trees around... But Kuro kept walking, pulling Umbra behind the fountain itself, the couple now concealed behind dense bushes and a running fountain.

"I think here's better... Now are you going to pin me to the wall or is it my turn to do that again?"

A devilish smirk forms on Umbra's lips before she swiftly, though gently, pins Kuro against the wall. Her hands gently gripping his wrists and her chest pressing against his, her amber eyes staring directly into her husband’s. “I think…” She starts, giving him a quick kiss on the lips before continuing “I would like to be the one doing the pinning this time~”.

Kuro grunted softly as he was pinned, a warm smile on his face as his hands immediately squirmed and his legs worked inside hers, softly spreading her own stance wider to work his hips just enough underneath her own so she could feel the rather immense physical reaction her hunger had on him.

A Royal Honeymoon

Dune sighed softly as his horse trotted alongside his bride's, a small smile coming over him as he realized he was already starting to refer to her mentally as his wife. The couple had only been wed for a week, but getting settled into married life was never part of their plan. The couple were adventurers at heart, and Dune was taking part in the biggest adventure he'd ever had.

"Not much further until we're beyond the bounds of Hyrule herself..." He spoke, smiling at his lover as he winked softly. "After that, the navigation will be up to you, my dear. How long do you think it will take us to get to your homeland?"

Dune shivered at her attention, nodding softly as he pulled his bride into another soft kiss that was seemingly laced with the hunger of a heart in love. His hands pushed up from her breasts, pushing her top up and off her body before letting it slip and pool at their feet.

"What's going on, cherry bombs?! It's me, Cherry!" She says in her usual energetic tone, her avatar's fox tail wagging back in forth in simulated excitement "Welcome back to another live stream!"

"Today, we're playing Call of Battle! And, I'll be playing with you guys! I'll post the code so you guys can join in." She adds, typing the code into the stream chat and making sure to highlight it so that everyone that was there could see it.

"We'll start the first game once we get enough people for two teams online."

Nolan smiled as he sliced off of a bit of his own fillet, the salmon fall-apart tender as he tasted it and nodded his agreement. He took a moment to savor the fruits of his own labor, humming softly as he kept an eye on the woman across from him.

"Would you be surprised..." He smiled, swallowing the morsel on his tongue before continuing, "Would you be surprised if I told you I perfected the recipe after making it in a videogame?"

"Really? Wow, I'm impressed." Anna says with a pleasantly surprised look on her face before taking another bite of salmon. "You'll have to show me more recipes sometime. That way I won’t be over reliant on instant noodles to feed myself.” She adds in a joking tone, though there also seemed to be a hint of truth to her jest.

“Anyway… what game did you get this recipe from? I might have to play it myself to get some inspiration.”

"Or I could cook for you again. I have a few recipes I like and quite a few meal prep recipes as well." Nolan threw out the offer absentmindedly, blushing slightly a second or two afterwards as he realized he just offered to come by her place again.

"... It was a Zelda game." He quickly spoke, trying to brush his words under the rug as he stuffed his face again. "Breath of the Wild. It was something you needed to make as part of a quest and the person you made it for wouldn't do anything until she'd had her favorite meal. Sounds like me and coffee when I wake up in the morning."

"Ah, I see. I don't think I've made it to that quest in the game yet. Last place I left off was before the Fireblight boss fight before I got distracted playing other games." Anna admits as she sheepishly rubs the back of her neck with a pink blush on her cheeks, chuckling softly at both his joke and her confession. Said blush turns a darker shade when his earlier offer reached her mind, causing her to take a quick sip of the Cognac. She follows this with a bite of salmon, the taste of fish and butter going surprisingly well with earthy and almost woody flavor of the brandy.

“Any other video games you like to play in your spare time?” She asks.

Nolan smiled as he saw her enjoy the meal, her blush only serving to make her even cuter. He smiled more, feeling even more by the second that this woman was a kindred spirit.

"I've been playing mostly shooters lately, a few popular games and some niche titles. I like games with a good story, but sometimes I just want to turn my brain off and just chill... And to this day, Minecraft is still the best thing for that. It scratches an itch for chilling out better than other games like it."

He sat back, sipping from his glass and taking another bite of his meal.

"So what about you? From your little shrine to all things nerd, I'm going to assume you're gaming about as thoroughly as you're hitting the books?"

"I like to play a little bit of everything. Though, I tend go more for a lot of RPG's or visual novels like Pokémon, Persona, Shin Megami Tensei, Danganronpa, Ace Attorney, Fire Emblem, Chrono Trigger, Baldur's Gate 3, and so on." Anna says, listing each game off on her fingers and doing her best to keep herself from rambling. "Though, I'm also a Nintendo child. Kirby, Zelda, Mario, Metroid, so on and so forth." She adds, taking another bite of salmon and potatoes. A part of her wanted to blab more and confide about her v-tuber persona, but she also knew that doing so would be risky.

Especially with how many potential creeps and simps were out there in the world.

"With your modest little collection of memorabilia I'd have never guessed you were also raised on Nintendo milk as a child." He smiled more draining his glass of cognac before refreshing both his glass and hers with ice and another two ounces of the distilled delicacy. The sarcasm and sass was strong in his voice, as was the hint of something... Oddly familiar...

"You're holding back, though." He smirked, seeing it in her gaze and twitch of her lip. She wanted to talk more, bable on about her nerddom. He wanted her to... It seemed like every word from her made him want to listen to the next even more...

Maybe it was the pleasant company, the fact that he felt like he'd found someone so close to who he truly was behind the mask, or maybe it was the admittedly strong distilled and aged spirit they were both drinking, but he was beginning to feel a blush creep up his neck and cheeks... One he didn't bother to hide.

"Please... Don't stop babbling. It's... Cute as all hell. Makes me want to bonk you in the head with a pokeball so I can carry you off with me~"

A dark crimson red fills Anna's cheeks and across her nose, unsure if it was Nolan’s flirtatious remarks or the brandy that was causing the warmth under her skin. She takes another sip from her refilled cup and lets out a breath. “Alright. Just remember, you asked for this.” She says in a half-joking and half-serious manner.

“I’ve been trying to get more into the indie scene as well. More specifically indie horror, though I do want to stray away from mascot horror since those are more of what are considered to be ‘normie’ picks. I’m talking about stuff like The Witch’s House, Iron Lung, The Closing Shift, Exit 8. You know, stuff like that. Though, I would also like to try out more FPS games, since I usually suck at those. I do also dabble in fighting games like Smash bros, Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, and anime arena fighters.”

"Combo-based fighters have never been my scene. I always end up button mashing... I guess that's why every time I play Tekken I always end up picking Eddy Gordo. Yes, I know that's heresy, but I don't play fighting games that much."

Nolan smiled, keeping his gaze on Anna as he tilted his head. Something about that roster of games sounded familiar... He couldn't shake the feeling he'd read those titles in someone's games library recently...

"If you want to get into shooters... How about something that's definitely more fun with friends? Looter-Shooters are always a good choice. Maybe Borderlands? I prefer that franchise over Destiny and the like."

An Unwelcome Polter-Guest

Nolan sighed softly as he sat in the coffee shop, sipping at a cup of espresso with his worldly belongings next to him... And his cat softly pawing at him.

"Yeah yeah, Morgana, I know... You're tired and hungry. Me too. Just let me finish my coffee before we head out, okay bud?" He smiled, softly rubbing the cat's head before glancing up at the woman behind the counter. Despite his Canadian heritage, his Japanese was flawless.

"Excuse me, I'm looking for an apartment building near here. Yūrei Apartment complex? I am supposed to meet the manager in an hour and... I have no idea how to get there..."

Nolan hummed into the soft kisses, gently wrapping an arm around her as he pulled her more snugly to his side. He sighed softly, feeling a soft warmth in his chest despite the gentle coolness of her form... Physical, metaphysical, or otherwise.

"I... Will admit... That was the most fun I've had with a spirit that didn't involve uncorking a bottle."

He chuckled softly, gently kissing Mysti's cheek and pulling her closer.

"So... What should I expect when I wake up? Will this all have been one weirdly vivid dream or... Will you leave me some kind of sign this was all real?"

She smiled as she listened to his charming words. To her he seemed to feel like the imaginary part. He wasn't anything more than a hallucination from her loneliness. Mysti curled up close to him. "Your sign will be me. I don't plan on leaving your side anytime soon, Nolan." She told him honestly. "I'll be here when you wake up. I hope you'll be here too."

Nolan smiled as he pulled the ghoul closer, smiling slightly as he pulled her flush to him, giving her as much of himself as she desired to embrace like a body pillow.

"With respect, I'm not the one who can become invisible and or intangible. So if I wake up and you're not laying right here, I'll become grumpy enough to haunt you."

He smiled, kissing Mysti's cheek before pulling her even closer... Somehow feeling warmth in her embrace despite knowing her touch was cool like a gentle breeze.

Mysti giggled lightly and smiled. She was really falling for him quick. She slowly fell asleep, feelinh comfortable and safe. But she never disappeared again. Mysti slept peacefully, waking up eventually, still in his comforting arms.

Nolan smiled, slowly drifting to sleep himself with his ghoulish lover in his arms. He slept through the night, getting possibly the best night's sleep he'd gotten since coming to Japan.

He was still sound asleep by the time she woke up, breathing deeply as he squeezed the ghoul closer and buried his nose into her neck.
