Goodbye Stormblood

Seen a lot of these posts going around, people all excited for 5.0 and bringing up all the fun and cool things that the 4.x series brought them.

For me though? Stormblood has been a giant shitshow. Plagued with drama, lost friends, and broken hearts. It killed my desire to raid first, and then my drive to actually do anything in FFXIV after. 

So much so that I don’t currently have plans to purchase 5.0. Can’t justify dropping $40 more on a game I’m not playing. I’m honestly not even sure if I’ll come back at all at this point.

There are a lot of good people in this community, but there are more that are bad, and they are the most vocal, usually with the biggest followings. People blindly jump to their defense even though they are not the victims, but the ones causing the problems.

And I’ve just grown so tired of it. Tired of wondering which “famous” person I might piss off next, that would run to their followers with trumped up stories of things I’ve never done, all the while I can do nothing but sit back and take it because it’s okay for them to not have proof of anything, but trying to defend myself from their attacks without it is not allowed.

So, yeah. Goodbye Stormblood.

So my dumb behind just remembered I haven’t paid for my shadowbringers expac yet, and with it coming up soon and some other expenses I have to take care of I’m worried I won’t have the money to pay for it! As such in opening up some sketchy color comms like the examples above! (The last one is an actual comm to give you an idea the amount of extra effort I put into comms compared to art for me.)

They are pay what you want with a minimum of $10 for little to no background or $15 for a basic background. The more you pay the more I’ll try to put into it, though.

A dream/ nightmare 

Infused with power, she felt unbeatable, and highly sensual. When she saw him the idea to submit was but a moments flicker, no she wanted to dominate him. To hold him in her hands and hear his husky masculine voice whisper sweet requests unto her ears… Her hands were like molten bronze as she touched him, marked him as her own. He hissed at the heat between them but leaned in, seduced by the raw desire he saw in her eyes… knowing something beautiful was going to happen tonight… She kissed him, spilled her heat into his body feeling him kneel under her, slowly sinking, submitting to her gilded touch… and she needed more of him. His slow prostrations stilled, his body hardened, and when she realized what she had done… her heart froze. His body forever submitting before her. Even as she stepped back, her breath caught at the terrible beauty of his surrender. She felt cold, her power drained… she was left with the gilded statue of her lover… His beautiful face captured in a moment of enrapture… now and forever.

Natsumi bolted awake her sweat pouring down her face and breathing labored. Her blankets were all knotted together in a pile. She sat there, unmoving, as she tried to calm herself.  A nightmare, it was only a nightmare. It had been quite sometime since she’d suffered one of this magnitude. One that had seemed so real. She grabbed the tome that lay beside the bed 4:00am was what it read. Certain she wouldn’t be getting back to sleep anytime soon, she rose from the bed and headed to the kitchen for a cup of tea.
