Beauty in the Breakdown | Ethan & Kat [Ended]
A shy half-smile escaped from Katherine’s lips as Ethan confessed being on the same page as her, her right hand travelling to rub his muscular arm before settling both her hands on his shoulders. She had never expected this of all things would happen, and it never occurred to her that were was even the remotest possibility that this would ever happen. A certain sparkle in her eyes appeared as she let herself settle into the reality of the moment.
Then her eyes followed Ethan’s as he looked at her, vaguely recognizing the look he had in on his face. It had occurred on the beach, right before he had taken her by surprise with a kiss. And the question that followed didn’t surprise her one bit.
“It would be wrong to keep me hanging, wouldn’t it?” she replied, then she placed her lips gently on his, complying with his request for a kiss with a cute little nibble, before she pulled away again, and asked with a cute little flirtatious tone, “Was that what you had in mind?”
Ethan couldn't manage to do two things -- he could not keep his eyes away from hers. It was impossible. After they had kissed, he was even more heavily spellbound than before, and even in their close proximity, Ethan found that he could not let her gaze go. And then, he couldn't help the grin that spread across his lips. His hands traced the outlines of her body, so close to his, and both came to rest on her hips. Slowly, Ethan pulled her to him.
"Something like that, yes," he responded, mimicking her tone of voice with his dark. "But also, a little of this."
Ethan leaned forward as their bodies connected, and pressed his lips, gently at first, to hers. Steadily, they progressed in their embrace. Lips broke apart, and the two of them started to sway, their heavy breaths ringing in the silence of the room. The bed gave a tiny squeak by the impact of their weight, as Ethan's back connected to the fabric. They broke apart, just the once, and Ethan figured Kat's face contrasted by the color of the ceiling, was a sight he'd never quite forget.
