I've also recently received a summons to join the Boy Scouts, but I am not a boy? Will I be penalized for not being a boy or is it better to run away and pretend the summons never happened?

The Boy Scouts of Night Vale are a private organization and as such, are not bound to the standard limitations of the Boy Scouts of America. Werewolves, girls, nonbinaries, beings in large robot suits, werewolf girls, angels, exceptionally long blades of grass which flow with an uncanny grace in the wind, and other such entities are still urged to respond to their summons. 

We assure you, citizen, no penalization will occur if you respond to your summons.

Um, I moved to NightVale with my kids a few weeks ago. And now they're gone? Should I be openly concerned about this?

Of course not. Kids come and go all the time. Honestly. Parents need to learn to get off their children's backs every once in a while. You're stifling them with your overprotectiveness. 

If you think you see any SSP with an uncanny likeness to your child's face, we highly suggest backing away and giving up on speaking with your kids again altogether.

Do you allow people from Desert Bluffs to reside in your town?

Well, we certainly won't deny the possibility that some very...talented individuals could have possibly found ways to...immigrate... to Night Vale undetected, most likely by keeping the Council and Mayoral seat quieted with a steady flow of contraband cereal grain and large sums of dik-dik antelopes...

Once an old dragon who lived by a small brook told me that people with dark brown nearly void colored eyes aren't real. They said they're all just hallucinations. Is this true?

We would like to inform you that all people with eyes don't actually exist. Every person you have seen with eyes is an augmented figment of your own delusional imagination trying to cope with your own nonexistance.

Who so you favor in the upcoming Mayor Election?

As the representative(s' representatives) of the City Council we must remain absolutely neutral in this upcoming election. We are as neutral as pure water according to our pH scale. The litmus one who likes to lurk on the corner of Bonner and Baker St. The one with all the oozing black hands and eyes. We think the ozone color and the black colors mean neutral. So...we're going with that.

When you die, the surface of the moon will not change. From a car window driving on a highway, looking up at a moon framed by incidental clouds, the surface will be the same muddle of mystery and distance it always is. And even a methodical study of your absence as it pertains to moon geology and cartography will find nothing.
