No matter what other disorders you have, this blog is a safe space for ALL cluster C people. You can also submit asks if you have traits of the disorders but not the full ones!

Please start your asks with “[?]PD(t) culture is…” for submissions! If you want to include other disorders just do “[?]PD(t) + [?] culture is…” to specify!

Cole (👑) - I have DPD (as well a few other things)! I’m a huge writer and post a lot of fanfictions from varying fandoms — but mostly from the game Overwatch as of right now — and have been into it since I was very young. I use he/zey/it/xey/ho pronouns!

Ashton (🐺) - I am autistic and have BPD with AVPD traits. I'm a programmer, writer, and avid video game enthusiast. I strictly use he/him pronouns.

dpd culture is that you really want to be taken care of emotionally to excess and while you understand completely that people have their own lives and can't do this for you, it's still so much longing to experience this. people see that and become more distant, because it's too much for them, but you are the person that also can give so much in any friendship, ignoring even your own well-being just to experience closeness. you know that it's unhealthy but you still want it so badly

PERSONALITY DISORDER SUBTYPES

i made a rentry of scientific/psychiatric subtypes for every personality disorder, official or just proposed.

if you know of any more (or better definitions for some) please send it my way in a comment, reblog, or in my ask box.

i made sure to include the coiners of each subtype so people knew it’s at least somewhat reliable and can research them on their own to learn more.

SUBTYPES OF PERSONALITY DISORDERS

Personality disorders are a group of disorders that form in late teenagehood to early adulthood in which one will have a rigid and unhealthy

please note i realize that some of these subtypes come off or are straight up demonizing/stigmatizing, but i wanted to include them because i wanted to have every single subtype theorized. as i said, if there are less demonizing/stigmatizing definitions for some of the subtypes, please send them my way!

DPD culture is having an unhealthy coping mechanism of latching onto people to the point if they're ever gone for like more than twelve hours you have panic attacks

AvPDt culture is feeling intense loneliness because you have no or minimal human connection but in order to get the connection you crave you need to put yourself out there and risk being rejected/embarrassed so you're stuck in a self-fulfilling prophecy
