Born and raised on Argus to her parents Uuna the Wise and Raan the Strong; Mesmis was a brilliant Priestess of the Light, working as a healer and spiritual aid for the Light. She had married Aurhan, a master blacksmith and Paladin, one her cousin, Kornelly the Brave, had introduced to her. Together they raised one child, Uuna the Brave, the name given to her for her persistence through the darkness. As a family, they taught Uuna her prayers, made a home and even had time to make a few extra chest plates. Aurhan even taught Mesmis to blacksmith. However, during a battle near the front; Aurhan and Uuna were tragically caught in an ambush. In her attempt to save them; Mesmis was blinded and beaten, no lingering ailments aside from losing her vision happened.
When Mesmis awoke she found Uuna, somehow she could still see her sweet daughter, but nothing else. She counted this as a blessing from the Light, even in blindness she could see her Uuna. Mesmis had also found that her husband Aurhan and Uuna were buried with the proper rituals. This confused her as Uuna was standing right next to her. Her tragedy pushed her to take the Oath of Light and become Lightforged, an unstoppable force on the battle field. She spent the rest of the Legion invasion healing wounded soldiers from the war, fighting on frontlines, and trying her best to raise a child by herself. During this war, Mesmis had shown intense passion for defeating those who took her family from her and was promoted to General. After the Legion had met their demise and Argus was destroyed, Mesmis moved to Dalaran and started a Blacksmithing apprenticeship and a new life with Uuna, meeting her cousin there in the process.
After Dalaran was destroyed by Xal'atath, Mesmis went to Stormwind to find a new life with her daughter. There she found new work as a Priestess in the Stormwind and Fel Gardens Churches, tending to and trading scrolls between them. She had requested a guide for the new city from the Church but instead ran into Quios, a younger Night Elf who decided to play the role. Quios served Mesmis with interest, surprised by her demanding nature. Deciding he liked her feisty demeanor and dedication to the Light, he asked her to marry him by giving her his family ring after asking for Uuna's permission. She said yes, finding comfort in his warm personality and similar backgrounds having both lost their spouses.
Now, comfortably settled into their engaged lives together, Quios has opened a farm to table restaurant "Apple of the Light's Eye" just down the road from their new home. He runs his farm with a firm but steady hand, still ready to drop everything at a moments notice for the Dark Lady's beckon. Mesmis had Kornelly move in next door, so they could gossip easier. Quios had Faolin, his best friend and confidant move in closely as well. Uuna chases the cows and chickens while learning about which plants to pick in each season~
