Hello! My name is Lyon, and I'm the one running this blog. I originally made an introduction post last year in May, however it did not look that good, so I'm redoing it!
I'm a 23 year old, Masc Presenting NonBinary, and I have a passion for writing and drawing, even if during the past few years I have barely done both things. During this past month and a half, I have begun writing again, not letting myself worry about making it look perfect, and I am trying to do the same with my art. A lot of the art I will be posting on this blog will very likely just be ref sheets, as that is one thing I know I excel at.
The stories that will be talked about on this blog will be properly written and posted onto Archive Of Our Own, aka Ao3. There will likely be multiple different stories, as the universe I am building is very expansive. As of right now, the Main Story for this universe does not have a proper name, as I actually struggle immensely with naming my projects. The name for the universe as a whole, The Diabolism Chronicles, is actually a repurposed name from a very old story I had tried making when I was younger.
When I figure out a proper name for the main story, I'll come back and update this post with it! But for right now, on my Ao3 Page, the main story will have names such as "The Diabolism Chronicles : Book One".
I'm going to split this post into an above and below the keep reading bar because, as I'm writing I'm realizing this is a very long post.

༺☆༻~{| What Is This Series About? |}~༺☆༻
The Diabolism Chronicles follows a magical girl universe, but specifically how becoming a magical girl can effect adult life and adult women. Or at least that's what I want to try and write about. I don't have the entire story or universe planned out to a perfect T, however as I write and write, all the pieces will fall into place hopefully!
There are many inspirations for this series, such as darker magical girl series, or magical girl series in general. Some that I can list are Madoka Magica, Yuki Yuna Is a Hero, Kill La Kill, Magical Girl Site, Pretty Pretty Please I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl, and Precure. I'm sure there are more but I can't remember them off the top of my head as I write. I might eventually make a separate post for all the inspirations for this series.
Due to the inspirations I have for this series, it will have some darker tones. If I can manage to write them properly! I personally have a fascination for types of media that handle darker and potentially uncomfortable topics for the normal person, but I try to incorporate that stuff into my writing to help others either gain an interest in the same things, or to try and get them to understand why these types of things are needed in media. I'm also constantly trying to improve my own understanding of things I might not have learned about while in school.

I am aware that as this is being posted online for others to enjoy, I cannot control everything people do, but I want to make a small list of things I'd like people that interact with my blog and stories to keep in mind! As I know that some people online might wonder what's okay and what's not, and others may simply do something without realizing it may go against what the creator wants.
As I'm quickly making these lists as I originally make this post, I might change the lists over time, by either adding things or removing things. So please keep that in mind.

Making Ships that ignore the characters canonical sexuality.
Changing any characters race withing fan works. This includes changing the skin tone by either making it darker or lighter.
Changing any characters nationality. They are what they are for a reason.
Harassing fellow fans for shipping something you don't.
Harassing fellow fans for creating a piece of work you don't enjoy. If you don't like it, you can handle it in other ways without making somebody else feel awful for making something.
Harassing me, Lyon, to try and get me to change something about one of my characters that you don't agree with. (The ONLY exception to this is if I actually do something to a character that is either Racist, Ableist, Xenophobic, Homophobic or something similar.)
Using any of my works in an ai program. I don't give a DAMN if it's for fanart, or whatever the FUCK. I will PERSONALLY hunt your ass DOWN if you use ai on ANY of my works. I am an AVID ai hater. I HATE THAT SHIT.

I'm not going to put every single tag I make for this blog in this area, as it would make this post extremely long. Even with how long it will already be by the time I'm done making it. So instead, I'm going to make multiple separate posts as they are needed, and come back here to add links to them!
I might make some tags as well for any fans to use on their own posts. So things are a bit easier to find, but I'm not sure as of right now. If I decide to do that, I'll add another list for them, or I might just add another section for any tags that form naturally. We'll see!
