Summary:

The Empire’s darkest secret isn’t a Sith ritual—it’s Palpatine’s disastrous personal life. After losing a bitter court battle, he’s stuck with 20% custody of his six children, a permanent restraining order against his ex-wife, and a tarnished reputation as a parent. Meanwhile, his self-made billionaire ex-wife, Shmi, is thriving as a bestselling author and Rebel medic.

Anakin, the youngest of the six, has inherited his mother’s defiance and his father’s reckless disregard for authority. Anakin’s latest stunt? Blowing Imperial credits on a luxury suite and building a criminal empire, much to Sidious’s fury. The Holonet eats it up, and the Imperial staff can’t help but roast their boss when he’s not around.

Nosleep author new to Tumblr --- Here to say hi!

It's great to see you here!

In case you're a stranger stumbling across this, I am an author on r/nosleep over on Reddit. I write first person POV dark fantasy/horror stories, mostly with a light touch. Topics include but are not limited to fairy-infested theme parks, frustrated dimension hoppers struggling with unemployment and women in wedding dresses roaming haunted forests. If any of that sounds interesting to you, feel free to check out my Reddit account. Or maybe you'd care to take a look at my subreddit, r/CrypticPark. As of now, the bulk of my work can be found there.

I suppose everyone who's following this blog knows me from Reddit. I plan to post my stories here as well as to r/nosleep. I find that the landscape on that subreddit has changed a lot lately, and not exactly in the best way. So maybe branching out will do me and my creative work some good. Let's see how it goes!

I gotta admit, I'm not at all used to how Tumblr works, so this post is as much as a greeting as it is me dipping my toes into what's sure to be a raging sea. Do folks even post texts like these here? Guess I'll see. Have mercy on me, is what I'm saying. I'm about as social media-savvy as your stereotypical granny. In fact, I am typing this with my screen dangerously close to my face, squinting at the keyboard like a vole. Still, I'll try my best to figure out this platform and make your stay on my blog as pleasant as I possibly can. I admittedly had fun playing with colors and fonts for my profile, so I hope there'll be good things to come.

Hello Lovelies!!

I understand there are not many people who have happened upon, or will happen upon, this blog, but I find motivation seems to stem from writing as if for an audience. It adds a feeling of urgency, a desire to write well instead of just writing for oneself.

So for those who do happen upon our blog, welcome!

Myself, and a few of my fellow authors, are working on a novella titled "The House of Crows." It's set in the early 2000s, primarily centered around a group of beings known as "Wardens." It's a gothic-mystery, with some psychological thriller on the side. - The story follows a young woman named Alice Miller, a farm girl pursuing her dream of working in police forensics. She did not however, foresee that it might lead to her helping to track down a shape-shifting, arcane magic wielding psychopath after the brutal murder of her boyfriend.

She will soon come to find that the realm of the arcane, pacts dating back to the Salem Witch trials, and well known ghost stories are far closer to the truth than to fiction.

We're very excited to share what's been our passion project for the last several years, and bring this world from a jumbled bundle of thoughts into a tangible (and hopefully legible) piece of fiction.
