I didn’t know there was going to be another women’s march this weekend. I didn’t go last year because the whole hat situation seemed too on-the-nose for someone whose marriage was falling apart because she realized she was a lesbian, but I would’ve tried to go this Saturday if I knew.

So, umm…any other protests coming up I should be all “woke” about? And would I be required to wear a, um, genital-pun-based hat? I’m not a fan of wearing hats in general.

No high heels during recovery. That’s what the doctors said. Wore then for six hours while walking around New York. Things seem to be fine. Not sure I could say the same about the apartment, though. Someone was complaining about people being too loud; someone was complaining about their pets being too loud — at least, my kitten is a sweet, little yet-to-become-a-demon thing; and someone’s whining about life instead of doing something about it. Don’t you just love living in this building?
